As far as thrift shops go, Gift and Thrift is worth a visit. I've only found a few clothing items that I'd actually wear, but they have overstock Ben Sherman for men and women.....

As far as thrift shops go, Gift and Thrift is worth a visit. I've only found a few clothing items that I'd actually wear, but they have overstock Ben Sherman for men and women... usually there's some small imperfection... but hey, a $130 shirt for 4 bucks? what do you expect? I have to say though, they have a great little silent auction and a pretty good selection of books... not to mention cheap candle stubs and good furniture once in a while. more

Good cause 7/15/2005

This thrift store used to be downtown in the new Glen's Fair Price store and has moved to this new bigger location. The profits from the sale of the donated items goes to Mennonite Relief Aid and you can be sure that it is used in the best way possible. They offer a large amount of used items and low prices. I found it to be a little messy and the items weren't that great, but what can you expect from donations? Overall it's a nice place to look for a bargain with a good cause behind it. more
