Kind of a cool bar, but definitely not worth a $20 cover charge and 2 hour wait, just to pay $11 for a martini. Voodoo is much better and they actually know how to mix a drink. ...

Ghostbar has incredible view 4/3/2011

Ghostbar is located 55 stories up inside the Palms and gives ridiculously cool views of the Strip and features bottle service (not all trends can be broken). more

Vegas' Best 1/13/2009

Ghostbar is a fun trendy spot to hangout at. Not much a dance spot but more of a social spot with hotness all around. Met a lot of cool people. Although my friend was booted due to being overly intoxicated, I do respect that because it's a classier respectable place. (We returned a few hours later) Drinks were good and average price for Vegas. It's definitely a place I will visit each time I do Vegas. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

He's a Promotions Mgr there. he handles complementary Guestlist & Bottle Service. -DJReact Pros: Views, sounds, Dj Cons: none!! more

Good, reliable breakfast everymorning at the Palms. 1/1/2008

Stayed at the Palms for 4 nights and ate here 3 out of 4 breakfastes. Everytime I ate here was good. The fruit platter was really good and provided a LOT of fresh fruit, which is essential to balance out all the bad eating we did at Lunch and Dinner! We never had much of a problem with service, and this could have been because we ate relatively early (10:30 am - 11:30 am) compared to all the other Palms-stayers who were undoubtedly still sleeping off the late-night. Scrambled eggs and omletted were all good. Only had one slightyly-bad server, but it wasn't a big deal for us. I don't think we paid over $12 per person per meal and always left full. I would recommend if you need a quite, simple breakfast stop while at the Palms. It's better than doing Mickie D's and healthier. I cannot comment on anything but breakfast/brunch. Pros: Good, clean, reliable breakfast. Some healthier choices on the menu. Cons: A little slow on service, but nothing too bad. more

Extremely gorgeous view! 11/9/2007

Went June 2007. It is very dark, intimate, and has the most gorgeous view of Vegas EVER! Standing on the clear see through floor is a rush and a definate "must do". My party went on a Thursday and a Saturday. For beautiful, well dressed, high class, people, mostly young, some older...definately a fun crowd. Drinks not too expensive. Not a dance club, but great for socializing with movers and shakers! Can bypass line and be treated as VIP if you are one of the "pretty people". Alot of "pretty people" inside, not the Coyote Ugly crowd...thank goodness...We will be back! Pros: Gorgeous view, beautiful people, classy, fun Cons: None more

Long Lines at Ghostbar 11/8/2007

Any ideas on how to get a group of 10 guys into Ghostbar at the Palms Casino. I'm going there for a bachelor party in January. Someone mentioned VegasPartyPass but I am skeptical. HAs anyone used them or know of another way? We are not staying at the Palms so does that make it more difficult? THANKS! more

Worst dining experience in this city 8/13/2007

Horrible food, terrible service, a waste of both time and money. I stood waiting to be seated for over a minute while the cashier chatted with a busser. It took 7 minutes for a server to get to me and another 10 minutes for a simple breakfast meal. The food was beyond horrendous with soggy "hash browns" (obviously frozen, pre-sliced potatoes) and soggy toast. Dissapointed and disgruntled by this point, I was pushed past the tipping point when it took yet another 5 minutes for the server to return with the check after I requested it. While their renovation sure made the place pretty, everything else seems to have suffered. You'd do well to go to any other "diner" type locations in this city. Pros: Nice Furniture and Television screens Cons: Horrible food, Poor Service. more

Great on a Sunday night 7/29/2007

I went here late on a Sunday, there was a bit of a wait with the line, but once we got up there, the view was spectacular, and the place looked great. It wasn't too crowded, just the right amount of people. There actually was a lot of dancing going on when I went there, and the DJ was playing great music. Best of all, they didn't make us pay a cover charge (a man and woman)! We got in free. I guess that doesn't happen too often, so we must have been lucky. But great place, I recommend going there at least once. more

Not that great! I like Voodoo lounge at the RIO better 6/2/2007

I've been to this lounge a couple times. One time I went early, around 9pm, hung out for a few hours and the place still wasn't crowded and I wondered what happened. Decided to leave and when I exited the elevator on the main floor there was a long line. Any club that has to keep a "feather" line to make themselves feel popular isn't a great club. Voodoo lounge is better with less attitude. more

Fun with nice view of vegas 12/20/2006

went on a wednesday night ($10 cover), wasn't anticipating anything great, but I had a blast! Drinks are pricey and the place was packed. Although some consider this a "lounge" when I went every one was dancing. The view from up there is awesome! Pros: view, $10 on wednesdays Cons: pricey drinks more

ghostbar 11/18/2006

This place screams cool. Good service, great view. I have been here several times. Even during the week. I was here on a Tuesday and it was like a Friday night. The only complaint I have is on weekend nights they let to many people in and its hard to move around let alone get a drink. Check this place out if you enjoy a great view. Go early and have a drink if you like it stay and it will be a happening spot by 11:30. Pros: View, People Cons: Can get to crowded more

Nice view 11/15/2006

This is one of my favorite places to go to in Vegas nice place nice views. Drinks are expensive but what is is cheap in Vegas. I much rather go to the Ghost Bar than club Rain which is also located in the Palms. Pros: Great view of the strip Cons: Expensive drinks more

great view, expensive 11/2/2006

View was amazing, attractive people, small almost none-exsisting dance floor. Very Expensive drinks. Bouncers and bartenders are rude. Bar was crowded and it took over 20 min. to get a drink. I will not return there. more

Celebrity watch 10/19/2006

Still one of the best places in Vegas to spot celebrities, and one of the best views of the strip. The DJ spins some great music, but be careful, there is no dancing at the Ghostbar. Going with a group? Then you might want to invest in bottle service. This is a great place to people watch from your VIP table. Go a little later on weekdays. Thursday through Saturday nights can get started earlier. Pros: Great view, beautiful people, celebrity watch Cons: No dancing, $$$$ more

OVERRATED!!! 9/25/2006

Went there Saturday night with a bunch of friends. Line is very slow. Drinks prices are a joke. No place to dance really. Not worth the $25 cover charge. Pros: Good view Cons: small restrooms, small dance floor more

Loved this place1 3/21/2006

Went on Friday night with my sister. Bought VIP which was good because the line was huge! The place was crowded but not so much so that we couldn't dance. The dj played great music to dance and sing along to. We met a lot of really nice, fun people. The service was friendly, and the drinks were a great value compared to some other places we had been. If you want better liquor, you simply request it. Unlike some places, all seating was not reserved for bottle service. Will definitely return! Pros: music , aesthetics, service Cons: line hosts more

Come here, BEFORE you break the seal! 2/13/2006

This is definitely the place one should start out a night of club hopping. The drinks are good, but the view will get you even more excited. I'd make one strong suggestion: Ladies, take heed... the last place in Vegas that you'll want to be when all your drinks kick in, is the line for the Ghost Bar's Ladies room. There's a capacity of about 327 people and 2 ladies room stalls. I had to bribe my way to the front of the line of 20(plus), in order to avoid embarrassment once my jaeger-bombs settled in. Pros: view, lighting, furniture Cons: lack of toilets more

User review by blondewonder 11/27/2005

Our bartender poured very generous drinks - Glenlivet came in larger-than-normal glasses with very little ice. On a Wednesday night at about midnight, there was no line, and cover, at $10, wasn't bad. I found it interesting that there was a big sign while paying that said something to the effect of "Ghostbar is a lounge, NOT a dance club. If you want to dance, go to Rain." Hmpfh. The music was the typical (anything by Lil Jon, 50 Cent, etc.) club fare with no surprises. In my opinion, worth the cab ride and the cover charge for the view of Vegas alone. more

don't waste your time 11/20/2005

dpending on the night you go, you'll usually have to wait in a line (always annoying), once you get out of the elevator and walk through the place, you'll probably like the decor, but that's all there is to like. the drinks are boring and overpriced, the people are really trying too hard to look good (and usually don't) and the music's TERRIBLE. who plays top 40 at a "hip" bar? get a clue people, and a BETTER DJ. the only nice thing? the view's great and part of the patio floor is glass so you can see all the way down. in general, this place sucks. Pros: nice view Cons: cheaply-made drinks, bad music, too much hype more

Hip Spooks @ Ghost Bar 4/11/2005

This place is great, but you must get there early, Unless you enjoy waiting in Line for a few Hours. Its a Gr8 scene. One must check it out! more

Trendy Palms Vegas Nightspot

Editorial
  • In Short
This "Jetsons"-esque lounge allows patrons to sink into egg-shaped chairs and stare out a wall of windows or just bask in the silver, white and green interior. Outside, an open-air sky deck allows panoramic views of the Strip and beyond. And the see-through acrylic deck allows visitors to peer hundreds of feet below into the Skin Pool Lounge. A younger crowd comes here to vibe to the music and indulge in less-expensive drinks.
