The first time I met Geoffrey I was so impressed, beautiful pictures, easy to talk to you and the same vision as I did for my wedding. Wedding day great day, Geoffrey was always up for a great shot and would do just about anything, very happy with the day, on time, polite, fun, my wedding party loved him. Few weeks later viewed my pics, loved them beautiful could not wait to get my book and all my pics. Months and I mean months later and many phone calls and emails no word back from him. I was worried that this guy took my money gave me a little preview and was gone with all my wedding day photos. So what did I do called some more sent another email. All I wanted was for him to call or email me back and say yes I got your order still working on it will be done soon. When I finally did get a hold of him, that is what he told me, but yet months passed before I got anything. and when I did it came little by little. I would not advise to hire him unless you want to work at getting the end results. I paid for wedding package in full before the day of the wedding and it took over a year to get my photos and talking with lawyers. I will say his pictures are very beautiful but it was not worth all the headache, there are other photographers that are just as good who get the work done. I think he needs to spend more time in the studio working on his current clients before he takes on more. Pros: fun guy Cons: never get your stuff more

My wife and I were married 10/06/2007. We hired Geoffrey Cook to be our photographer based on pictures he took at my brother's wedding the Summer before (he was the photographer for this wedding as well). Geoffrey puts up a laptop slide show during the reception of pictures he has taken thus far in the day and my wife really enjoyed the style. As for cost, I thought he was high based on comparable photographers in the Menasha, Neenah, Appleton, Green Bay are of WI, but we really liked the albums he puts together and went with him. The day of the wedding went well. My wife and I live out of state and had to travel a 1000 miles to get back to WI for out wedding (we're originally from WI and its easier for us to travel than everyone else). Everything went off without a hitch. Soon, we were back in VA and began trying to order our pictures. Fastforward to Dec 2009 and we have had major setbacks. Our photographer has not responded to us in over 5 months after repeated attempts to contact him. We do not know what the status is on our pictures we have ordered or our albums, both of which we paid for in full in 2007. Further, my brother has informed me that he has not yet received his pictures and has been getting no response from Geoffrey Cook either (he was married SUMMER 2006!!!). I am not sure what else to do other than take legal action at this point. I was hoping I could just get the pictures I had paid for or I would settle for a CD with the pictures on them and a refund of my purchase price, which the interest he earned on it should more than make up for this debacle. I strongly warn everyone looking for a photographer for any type of service to steer clear of Geoffrey Cook Studios or don't be surprised if he RUINS your wedding after the fact like he has done to us. Pros: Originality / Creativity Cons: Poor customer service / Has not provided pistures paid for more

I do not think words can truly describe about how I feel about this man as photographer. He has handled weddings for several people that I know and he so accurately captures the mood of the event. He was the photographer for one of my best friends weddings and I must have watched the slide show of the pictures more times than I can count. Not only that, but from the moment he met the various couples that I know he was nothing other than amazing. He went far beyond the call of most photographers. Also he always contacts you in a quick manor if you have any questions. I would trust him with any important event in my life. Pros: fantastic photos Cons: none I know of more
