Best breakfast place 5/6/2010

I went into Gators on a weekday before work, I had thy best experience breakfast was excellent and at a extremely reasonable price, and drinks were excellent . But above all Kelly and Brenda definately brightend my day very friendly and I think they might have been comedians before working at Gators because they are a riot together .They were very helpful and gave very good service . I will be making gators my breakfast place to be and you should too. more

The worst breakfast I have ever paid for 2/26/2010

I had lunch here once during football season and did not finish my meal. Such generic food. Definitely not one of those pubs that you can tell are something special. Okay I have been to many pubs etc that were exactly like this one. Basic no love food. BUT, that is not why I am writing this review. I rolled in because I was feeling like hell with healthy eating today. I want some good old comfort breakfast. Ended up getting the worst excuse for an omelet that I have ever had. Flat, blah and blah. Something I would not have even expected from a homeless food line. They had two choices for potatoes. Fried diced and traditional hashbrowns. I asked the bartender which would be less greasy. She told me that if I requested the traditional extra crunchy that it would be the less greasy of the two. I guess the fried diced potatoes are served in a bowl of grease because the traditional ones served tome were swimming. Golden brown? Barely even a tinge of yellow. GREASY! I love food and am a pretty damn good cook so I know what it takes to put out special food but this stuff was so bad and made without concern it was ridiculous. This is my first food review ever but I just could not let this terrible meal go. And by the way, the patrons (one guy to my left even told the bartender she had nice t!ts) are the type you would find at a eatery that offered one of those $2 breakfast specials. Oh yeah, The Gator does. Should have tried it. Pros: Nice, pretty, witty bartendar Cons: food more

Too wide and Too Witless 9/8/2008

You know what every boilerplate HR sheet says in their company literature: ""Our people are our most valuable asset."" Well the owners REALLY need to take a look at their staff and think about replacing most of them. The tall blond does not know why she is there. My brunette waitress was obese (were talkin' hard on the eyes folks) and unhelpful. I asked her as to make a recommendation from the menu. She took a long time to say ""duh..its all good"". In case the owner needs to know, a good server is a smooth salesperson, Next on my list would be the Karaoke DJ. If you can't turn it down...I'm sure we can replace you with someone who can. Pros: Good Location, Parking is adaquate, Food is good. Prices are reasonable. Cons: Keep the Bartender and cook ....everyone else is sooo replaceable. more

Great Spot 12/30/2006

The food is great, and I mean great especially for a bar. The staff is friendly, Laura is the best, but not the most efficient in that for several of the gals you have to track them down to get drinks. The owners Jeff and Stephanie are super nice and have tried really hard to make this a fun place to go. I would avoid here Wednesday through Saturday nights after 9pm however because they have kareoke and it is played WAY TO LOUD! oh and Doyle, the bar manager, ROCKS! Pros: Friendly staff, great food, nice regulars Cons: kareoke played way too loud, the tall blond who does not realize she is there to take your order more
