Last year (2010), my wife and I contracted Gator Tree to trim a huge old laurel oak that was doing poorly. We were given an estimate to remove the entire tree and the option of doing half now, half later if the tree died. The workers removed about half the limbs in the hope that the tree might re-sprout. It didn't, and a year later owner Joe McLaughlin would not return calls to finish the job as agreed. I suspect he gave the original estimate in order to get the short-term first payment up front, and had no intention of honoring the agreement later. Wasted over 2 weeks waiting in vain for a response. Don't bother dropping any more info at my house, Joe.
