I love gameco, It has great employees and great prices. The employees treat you like family. I just got a ipod from them for cheap, and the employee working set it up for me and should me how to use it. Gameco sell and trades games in, I traded in some games and got top dollar for them. I will be going back to buy and trade in. more

We recently had this store fix our nintendo wii. It was done within a week. When I picked it up it reminded me that we had our xbox fixed here a few years ago. It still works and these guys deserve to know. They also carry games so we will be back. Thanks gameco! more

My husband and I came in with our children to buy a game and ended up leaving with 3 because of all their discounts and specials they have going on. It almost seems as if they always have a great new sale everytime I come in. Plus you can tell they actually like their jobs unlike alot of stores-- especially during the holidays. Well worth the trip. Will return! more

Gameco has the cheapest games I have ever seen! They fixed my Playstation 3. I couldn't find anyone in KC to fix systems. more

Gameco I think is the best store for gamers I believe. They have all the old systems and games they test them out for you to make sure it all works and have no problems! They will resurface my newer games and my dvds. They fixed my original nintendo and my xbox 360 and they work great! They are always having huge sales also! more

Very nice store, obviously not owned by some big chain. Old carpet, VHS tapes?, and just about every game from atari2600 to x360. I think it is very cool. The guy was real nice even though they did not have the game I was looking for. They don't carry new release games :( which was really the thing that kept me from giving them a better rating. Maybe next time guys! more

I use them when I can, if they have the game I make a purchase. They run some amazing discounts sometimes and I have personally NEVER bought a game from there that didn't work. Try it, you will like it! more

I used to go this place all the time, but recently it has gone down hill with all cool employees leaving and store manager killing the store with his childish temper. A few days ago I was trying trade-in some new released game I didn't liked. The manager offered $10 store credit for game that was released 2 about days ago for $60. I asked him why such low amount offered for brand new with all packaging only played for maybe for about 2 hours. I wasn't being a jerk about it, just asking general questions if the rate was store credit or cash and why so low? He didn't answered any of my questions and yelled at me ""IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR FAIR TRADE-IN RATES, GET THE H*** OUT AND DON'T COMEBACK!!"". Which I did, I went to the GameStop further down North Oak on Englewood and traded in same game for $50 store credit. What really shocks me, how GameCo keeps a manager that scares off and threatens customers and keeps the store open. more

First of all, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was very knowledgeable and straightforward. Great selection on inventory with used movies, games, and consoles. None of the games I purchased appear to have been played at all, and I was able to trade in my old games towards discounted newer games. Also, great for acquiring vintage, harder to find games. Highly recommended. more

This store is very good for what you are looking for, if you are looking for classic games, and gaming systems, its okay, for knowledgable service, its very good, and its services themselves, repairing PS2s and such, lets face it, there isnt much of a call for that kind of thing any more, so if you need it, they are an almost MUST. You get what you pay for, so pay for what you get. more

I have visited this location twice and both times came out dissatisfied. The first time I took my kids to buy a used game, but the selection was very poor and the prices were very high. The second time we visited we needed to get a spring put back in the opening of our Playstation 2 system. This would have taken them less than 1 minute, but they refused to even look at it for less than $40. We took it somewhere else and they put it in for free in about 30 seconds. Will never patronize this establishment again. Absolutely no customer service. Pros: None that I could see. Cons: Ripoff Artists - overcharge for everything more

I was trying to transfer files from one xbox 360 hard drive to another. Best buy wanted $59 plus the cost of the transfer kit. Gameco on North Oak did it for free. They let me use their transfer kit and tv and even helped me when I had a question. Saved me some money. They also told me they update the boxes to the newest software for free which Geek Squad charges $40 to do. Pros: very quick Cons: they don't work for free more
