Two weeks prior to our vacation we called to find out details about cabana rentals. We were told to call a number and make reservations. Called and were told cabana would be available and we could pay when we got there. After determining we definately would go here, we called back to make the reservations and were told that no reservations were needed its first come, first serve that check in time was 7:30 a.m. and the cost would be $30.00. Went to the park and while the park itself was nice and we liked the historic aspects of it we were VERY disappointed w/ customer service. We arrived about 7:30 and were told that they weren't sure if any cabanas would be available to check back at 11:00. So we played around the beaches and went back, were told they still didn't know if they had openings but we could pay for campsite and if cabana came open we could also pay for cabana and use it. went to use showers there and they were pull chain cold water only. Also we liked the fact that they secure the premises at night, but were their pamphlet said this is done at dark and in person we were told they lock the gates from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. we didn't like this because we were interested in some nite time fishing. overall all we kept receiving from this place was contradictorary information
