BEWARE this tax preparer makes mistakes doesnt return calls emails or keep his word....\r

I contracted and paid this preparer the first week of April to file and refile many years of returns by the middle of may. This is the commitment me made to me and the IRS. He failed to provide the service he agreed to. Made mistakes in overstating my income by thousands of dollars on the few returns he completed. Refused to return my daily phone calls and messages. \r

He blamed his preferred method of contact -email, that he had not gotten responses from me that I sent him numerous times and then called to tell him, always left on a machine, that I have sent the information and asked for a return call to confirm he did or did not get it, a return call that never came, even though his message machine says he will return the calls.\r

There was always some excuse, I've got four so far, the family, the dog, the vacation, the email.....\r

I suggest you find another person to do your taxes no matter how simple they may be.
Pros: none so far
Cons: doesnt return calls, keep commitments, return emails, makes excuses, unresponsive....
