I went here two or three months ago to get my VCH re-pierced. I had no healing issues for this piercing the first time I had it pierced, but had constant issues with the second time for a couple of months. It got to a point where it hurt so badly that I tried to take it out, and found that it was stuck. In the end, I had to use pliers and get my boyfriend to help untwist them because it turned out the ends had both been screwed on LOPSIDED (which is why it was so difficult to get off), leaving a little gap of room between the bar and the ball that kept pinching my skin - there was a tear above the hole and it is the worst experience i've ever had from a piercing.
