Worst ever shopping experience 1/16/2015

I bought a recliner sofa and love seat (leather) just 6 months back and now it has excessive damage in several places. I called store and they asked me to call customer care number. I called customer care and they logged my complain and send the tech to my home to take a look on my furniture. Tech came my home and he took few pictures and told me that someone will get back to you within 3-5 business days. I waited for more than a week and no one called me back. I called the customer care again and they said we closed the case because there is not much damage. I said how can you say there is not much damage and they sent the tech again after few days. This time tech took several pictures and said the same thing you will hear back from us within 3-5 business days. I again waited for 7 business days and no one called back so i called customer care today again and they said we ordered the part for your sofa and you will hear back from us once we get that part. I asked customer care executive why don't you called me for this and she said sorry about that. I explained her that i want to return this product because it has so much damage on multiple places and i paid nearly $2000 for this. i bought this product just 6 months back. She said we can't do anything. After talking to her for 15 minutes she said she will talk to her manager and get back to me within few days. I am not at all satisfied with their product. When i bought this it was looking really cool but within 6 month it has damage everywhere. I spoke to manager today and he said they can only replace part. I said there is damage everywhere how come you will replace part. There was no answer. Its worst customer service and shopping experience of my life. Please don't waste your money by buying anything from them. more

Worst Funiture shopping experience ever!!!!! 9/13/2012

Well for starters they delivered the wrong stools to me that i ordered but after I called I had to go back to Shakopee show them the ones that they delivered and the ones I ordered they stated they should be in by Tuesday this was a Saturday and I had to wait because they were coming from Sioux Falls. Well I received a call stating they will be at the Fridley warehouse so I stated I'll pick them up Wednesday after work they said make sure and be there before 7pm. Then Wednesday comes I get a call stating they won't be in till Friday, so I call the Manager at Shakopee store he stated don't worry they are at the Fridley warehouse and to go and pick them up after work before 7pm. So after work I get to Fridley delivered the stools they delivered to me expecting my stools to be there they bring out the wrong stools again a total different design from the ones that were delivered the first time I said you got to be kidding so knowing it wasn't the warehouse guys fault so I showed him the exact stools I wanted their at the warehouse on their website the guy said it may take a week to get them in!! So the following morning I call the District Manager he follows up with me stating it shows we have the stools and it'll take a week to get them in but he wasn't positive if they are really there at that warehouse and that I'll have to wait to speak to Chris the Manager from Shakopee tomorrow!!! They' re main job is to sell furniture how hard is it to make sure u have the right Sku # they need to type it in look at he pick of it and make sure by the picture that it's exactly what the customer was looking at and wanted!!! Furniture Mart is the last place I'll shop at go to Ashley and have Sandi more

Went out to Furniture Mart expecting to some Junkie Outlet store but was amazed to find a store much like Becker,Home,Slumberland except much larger and much cheaper prices. Bumped into a young Salesman that couldnt have been older than 27 at the Shakopee Store that was very up beat and knowledgable. Seemed to have been around furniture his whole life. Eneded up buying Bedroom group, matress and a couch and got a great deal!!! Salesman made me feel very at home at the store...Only negative was there seemed to be too many sales people lurking but of course it was a slow day and its a huge store. Will say they had a great selection and great prices!!! I left the store with a warm feeling knowing I got the best deal out there and I felt I owed it to the sales person to leave some good comments on the page!!! "james" we will be back!!! Not so satisfied Customer 3/24/2009

We bought a new house in September 08 and needed to furnish the living room and dining room. We went to Furniture Outlet in Shakopee and found what we were looking for. However, the prices advertised on the furniture were apparently lower then what they should have sold the furniture for. (Not my problem) We got the furniture into the new house (minus a table for the living room that was on back order)and noticed within a few weeks that the arm to the couch was torn and not "attached". We called the store only to be told that they would send a tech out. Fine, I took a half day off work as I had to be home between 2-6 for the tech. The tech came at close to 6. He determined that the parts should be ordered and he would need to come back to fix it. Parts were ordered, new time set up...this time for Saturday(between 10-2) as we couldn't take anymore time off of work. The tech shows up and asks for the parts...what parts?? They were shipped to the wrong address. So now, we have wasted half of a Saturday, only to find out that we need to contact Furniture Outlet to get the parts and have the tech come out again. It is now March 09 and we still do not have a couch that is fixed. As for the living room was a discontinued product, but no one called us to let us know this. After several calls to the store and messages for the manager, we finally received a call that they could credit me the money or I could look for a new table... Furthermore, the quality of the furniture after looking at it with the tech...poor...lots of cardboard and nothing to it. It looks nice though I guess. Hopefully it holds up. more

Nightmare delivery 11/14/2007

My husband and I went to the Shokopee location and we spent over 3 hours looking for the perfect living room set for our new house. We placed our order at the end of August. Our furniture arrived the last week of September. We opened the plastic around the TV stand and it had a hole in the back. I called the company within 10 minutes of the delivery men leaving. Company policy is they have to have a tech look to see if they can fix it. 10 days later..they can't. He orders a part 3 weeks later the part arrives. 10 days later the tech comes and opens the part... it's broken! I call the company and they tell me A) I can have $100 off B) they can reorder the part C) pick it up. I am insulted. My husband and I spent $2500.00 in their store and they are going to knock off $100? I was insulted!! It is mid November and I still don't have a TV stand. I will NEVER use this company again. I feel they don't care about their product or their customers. A supervisor would not even take the time to talk to me. I took the day off of work to wait for the tech to come and the rest of the day on the phone waiting for someone in charge to talk to me. If this is how they treat people who spend a fair amount of money in their store, I'd rather pay the extra money and go to HOME!!!! more

Not that great of a deal 8/15/2006

We found a set that we liked, heard about this store, went there. The price was higher on the set by $400. Lots to select from in the store though. We would go back to look for other items. (just keep in mind when the sales person repeats about 20 times during your visit that it is the lowest prices in town, you might want to check again) more

Very Good Prices 8/14/2006

We have been to most known name furniture stores in the twin cities metro area. This store has good quality stuff at very competative prices. Delivery times usually way better than other comparable things. We have been back to this store and the one in Medford, MN. more

Not really outlet prices 4/16/2006

I'll admit that the prices weren't as good as one would think, given that it's called an outlet. However, this was the only furniture store that had exactly what we were looking for (a corner entertainment with doors) at a reasonable price. In addition, we were buying furniture at the attached Ashley store, and the two salesmen worked together so we'd only have to pay for one delivery. We were able to get interest free financing through both stores, and I only have to write one check each month. We've really enjoyed our furniture, and while I would shop around, I'd probably look there again if we need more furniture in the future. more
