Very Good Expierence 2/16/2012

I was moving down here from Austin to go the college and I was shopping around for furniture and I came across Furnish 123. The sales person name of Daniel came across me very politely and assisted me on special deals they were having. I had ask him due to the prices is it good furniture and he mention that there product was made by ASHLEY FURNITURE i was very satisfied with that cause i felt i was getting a great product for a great price. The only down fall is i had to wait 2-3 weeks for my furniture to come in but i wasnt worried cause they gave me a great deal I highly recomend this place. When you do go ask for Daniel he will take care of you more

furnish 123 8/23/2011

I cant even give them a star. Where are the negative stars at!!!! My husband and I went into furnish 123 and felt we got a ""good deal"" It took them a long time after the orig. delivery date to even get it. Then the tv cabinet came broken. WE had to go to the warehouse to get a new one that was after them asking us what we did to it. Then the wood on the sofa and loveseat are scratched and the table top. We have been fighting for 4 mo. We have made several calls, went into the store at least 3 times. I finally went in there and threatened to call the BBB and to stand in front of their store and tell people not to buy furniture. The next day we got a call from someone who said they will send a tech out. Oh buy the way we were told that they were having problems with their tech person quitting. the man who came to our house said he has been working there a year. Finally A ""tech"" came out and told us that man these are manf. defects. Plus our recliner is fading. The ""tech"" said oh man this is ridiculous these are all manf. defects. The arm of the couch the band inside it is broken. I cant fix these problems. They should replace this stuff. That was almost 2 weeks ago. The customer rep called and said that the ""tech"" told him I REFUSED SERVICE!!! What!!!???? Needless to say I was more than ticked. Did I mention that the service rep told me that they have had problems with the ""tech"" before? Hummmm So this is my problem how. We even bought the ""insurance"". I told her that and she said that is another company that takes care of that. I told her doesnt matter.... IT CAME THAT WAY!!!! Im suppose to get a call tomorrow. We will see. btw... in order to publish this I had to do a rating. I think im being nice giving them 1 star :( more

Never Again in My Life!!!! 7/26/2011

My husband and I went to purchase a bedroom set for our son. We went to the store and was told that we could get an excellent deal on a bedroom set. They were have a sale. The sales clerk stated that he would check at the warehouse to see if they had the set we were interested in so that it could be delivered on 07/18. Just out luck, probably to good to be true, it was in stock. So the delivery date and time was set. The 18th came and no furniture was delivered. Not even a phone call to say why noe delivery. My husband went into the store and was told that they didn't have any trucks for delivery and that she would give us a call on 07/22. Again, no phone call, nothing. So, we went to the store on 07/24 to inquire why we hadn't received our merchandise. When we entered the store, we could see a couple already at the counter with an already frustrated look on their faces. A clerk asked if she could help us and I proceeded to tell her our story. She asked if we had a receipt. While looking us up on the computer, I overheard another clerk tell the couple that it was in the warehouse and that they could go pick it up for themselves. The couple stated that they had driven an hour already to check on the status of their merchandise and it has been two(2) months since they made the purchase and now you are telling them that they have to pick up their own merchandise. I interjected a question as to why during the two(2) month time didn't anyone feel they need to give the customer a call to inform them of the status of their order. Another clerk stated that the only thing that they do is make the sales to the customer and then it goes to their administrative office and is handled from there. And that they may have given them a call to update the status but it is not done from the store. I told him that may be the case for the couple next to us, but my husband physically came into the store and was told that he would receive a call. He had no answer for me. They tried to dance around the whole issue. Both myself and the lady from the couple next to me left the store and they continued to talk to our husbands. They told my husband that they would give him a call the next with a solution. My husband did receive a few calls from the assistant store manager. We went to the store and just informed him that we wanted a refund and didn't want the merchandise that we never received. He stated that he a few of the pieces in the warehouse but not everything but he could get the rest in the same collection but different style and would be able to deliver it on 07/28. He stated that he would give us free delivery, have them set it up, and remove all waste from the site. At this point , I just want to no longer do business with this merchant. He then informed us that he couldn't give us a refund it would have to be a store credit. He pointed out in the refund policy that the order had to be cancelled within 72 hours of the receipt being written. It also states that no refunds are given if the merchandise has left the showroom or has been delivered. NO DELIVERY OF MERCHANDISE. He was still stuck on the 72 hour statement. I asked that he go higher than himself. He stated that he would try. He sent an email to the corporate office to request a refund. I requested a copy of the email he was supposedly sending to corporate and he informed me that he couldn't allow me to have a copy it was against corporate policy but gave me a website to go to to see what he had requested. He is to contact us today, 07/26, with a response to that email. We have still yet to receive our son's bedroom set. Never again in my life will I ever shop with this company. more

Buyer beware! 5/25/2011

This was the worst furniture buying experience ever - thay are quick to take your money but dont expect your furniture for 4-6 weeks. And they're favorite phrase is "" I will call you back "" Yeah right! It's all Ashley furniture anyway so try your luck at the Ashley store. more

Worst possible experience EVER! 3/31/2011

Bought furniture at Furnish 123 off of Culebra/1604 in mid February and was told furniture would not be available for delivery until mid March. When the warehouse contacted us to schedule delivery they set up a time frame between 1pm and 3pm. They finally arrived to deliver the furniture an hour and half late at 4:30 pm. No attempt was made to contact us regarding late delivery. As soon as delivery was made, it was discovered that the ottoman's frame was broken and missing a leg. Also, one of the decorative pillows was ripped. Immediately we contacted the furniture store and told him our issues. He told us he would call the warehouse and have someone there return our call. The next day, after no phone call was received we called again and was told AGAIN that we would receive a call from the warehouse. This happened again on the third day as well. On the fourth day of phone calls we were given the phone number to call the warehouse directly and was told to speak to Mike or Tony. For several days in a row we left messages for them, but never had a call returned. Finally on March 29th, at 10:00 PM (THE DAY BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRED) I received a call from Matt saying he needed to schedule a service call but that he only made service calls on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 11am-2pm. The was absolutely no way we could do that, we had to both work on Wednesday and being informed of this just 2 hours before midnight we were unable to change our schedule. He finally agreed to come on Thursday between 9am-11am. Because we had some advance notice my husband was able to take off work to be here for his service call. After Mike(the technician) hadn't shown up by 11:30am we called him and he agreed to come before 3pm. After he hadn't shown up AGAIN we tried calling several times with no answer and no return call. At 4pm we called the warehouse and asked to speak to Matt or Eric who are the owners of Furnish 123 and the warehouse. After leaving several messages and not getting a return call we were finally able to reach Eric. He told us that he couldn't get ahold of Mike, but he would TRY to get us on his schedule. I explained to him that Mike had called us at 10:00 pm and had already failed on two attempts at a service call or even a phone call to inform us that he would not be able to make it. I asked him for a different technician and he said he would not be able to send anyone else. I told him that it was not acceptable and he told me ""It seems like nothing will make you happy"". That isn't true at all. I am pretty easy to please, even a phone call would have sufficed me. After 2 weeks and failed attempts to resolve this issue I am beyond frustrated and told them to just come pick up their furniture. The informed me that the 2 week return policy was up. NO KIDDING! I was then informed that IF they did allow a return that there would be a 15% restocking fee. So basically, IF they do take back the furniture I have to pay 15% for having defective furniture taking up space in my house. It's not like I just decided to not keep the furniture. I have gone above and beyond to try to resolve this issue, with no avail. I am beyond frustrated at this point. It is a shame that this is what we get for trying to support locally owned small business. What a HUGE mistake!! more

Avoid These People at ALL Costs! 1/10/2011

I came here despite all the warning signs. My girlfriend's mother bought some furniture here when they first opened the Forum location and had several issues like terrible customer service and multiple delays. I decided to give them a shot myself ONLY because of a Groupon special they were having. I regret ever doing so b/c I was originally quoted getting my furniture before the New Year. Then I was quoted to get it 1/10 and now it has been delayed yet again. Every time I've called them, I get sub-par customer service and an earful of excuses. Take your money elsewhere to save yourself from numerous headaches. more

Not impressed 12/24/2010

We had a delivery scheduled for December 23, 2010 with a window of 5pm to 8pm which was then rescheduled by them at 7:30pm for a window of 9pm to 11pm the same day. We waited till 1am December 24th and they NEVER delivered (not even a call). I wanted to share my experience with others so that you take my experience into consideration before deciding to do business with them. I will keep you all updated on how they follow up with their missed delivery. more
