Fun House has the best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust isn't too thin or too thick. There is the perfect amount of sauce. The pizza has the most toppings you have ever seen on a pizza. If you have never eaten at Fun House, you must. It is a need. You don't know what pizza is until you have eaten Fun House Pizza. more

The Best Pizza Ever! 7/10/2003

Fun House Pizza is the best pizza I have ever eaten. I like it so well, that I even recieved 2 frozen pizzas from my best friend as a wedding gift. She brought them all the way to Arkansas! My family and I have gone there since I was a little girl, some 29 years ago, and I now take my own daughter there as well. Forget all the other KC ratings for pizza...I've had Fun House all my life...living out of town now, I miss it greatly, but get it every time I'm there. It is the best in the world. The combination or pepperoni is my favorite. The inside has never changed, so don't expect fancy or elegant...this is one of a kind pizza that you can't describe...you have to try it! This is the best pizza in town. It is always excellent and has the most toppings for the best price. We need one located in the south Kansas City area (Raymore, Belton, Peculiar). Pros: Great Pizza, Great Price Cons: Need one South KC more

The atmosphere is great, pizza is even better. Not too much sauce and not too littlel. When you pick up a slice it doesn't droop over like pizza hut and other places. The crust is always fresh and crisp and the ingredients are always fresh. more

timeless and always a great kc favorite...my parents started taking me there 34 years ago..... they use real meat, not processed and have a unique beer batter for the crust...try one with jalapenos if you can....my fave , hamburger and black olives/with jalapenos!! Pros: a real pizza joint!! Cons: not enough in kc, all on the east side more

Still great food, 20 years later! 11/27/2002

I loved Fun House pizza 20 years ago when I lived in KC. They cook it on paper, so the crust is real crispy on bottom. Great sauce & lots of fresh toppings. Went back this summer and the food was just the same ... fantastic! Also good meatballs, hot german potato salad & lots of cold beer or mixed drinks. A family place. Not very fancy, but a must if you want friendly folks and great pizza. more

Strange Place for Good Pizza 11/1/2002

Probably the best of the old, great Pizzas in Kansas City for the past 30 years. Sauce and crust are fair, nuttin special. Toppings are another story. If you like toppings, Fun House has it. Super-Generous portions and good stuff too. Generous toppings plus the seasonings and cheese quality have kept this old pizza recipe a favorite for years. Too bad there are not more locations left around the city. In my opinion, this is one of the best pizza's left in Kansas City today. This isn't the fanciest place in town, noisy, kids and video games and big screen TV's. BUT, the place has the best pizza around: great crust like none other, lots of toppings, and some unique combinations. (You've got to try the dill pickle pizza!) They've been at this location for 30 years and haven't lasted that long by not serving the best. If the noise bothers you, you can always get your order to go!
