Great Ice Cream Spot 7/1/2005

There are two Frosty Bears - one in town and one on the Homer Spit. We like the one on the Spit better, but if you're lazy, the one on Pioneer will do. A sushi meal requires ice cream for dessert. An ice cream addict requires ice cream after a meal. So - we at ice cream. Yum. Bear Claw is always a chocolatey goodness winner if they have it. more

Best Ice Cream in Homer 7/31/2004

I'm not actually sure there's another ice cream place here - this is it. There are actually two of them - one in Homer proper on Pioneer (in the corner of the shopping center off Pioneer and Lake) or on the Spit. We like the one on the Spit better even though the ice cream is exactly the same - it feels more - decadent. Perfect after a nice dinner of fried fish. more
