Mark has done several projects at my home including landscaping, retaining walls, stone work, pathways, and a driveway. I have been completely satisfied with his design, his work, his crew, and his professionalism throughout each project. He is always available to answer questions and once he begins a project he is there through completion. In other words, you will have his undivided attention. Mark is a good person, a family man, and someone you can trust. more

Mark and his team have done 2 separate jobs for me over the last 2 years. Both were excellent. Mark has very good ideas when it comes to design and his team's work is first class. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any landscaping work. They are reliable, work hard, and the work is top notch! Extremely pleased with the outcome. more

From the Ground Up Excellent 2/4/2011

We contracted From the Ground Up to first design a patio area behind our home. We liked the design so much that we expanded the effort and contracted with the same firm to do the work. What started out to be a patio became almost a total landscape makeover because we were so impressed with the ideas, work, workers and sub-contractors of this company. We recommend them highly. When they finished the project, it was almost like losing family members. more

Completely Satisfied 7/20/2010

FTGU has done an excellent job at our home. Starting 2 years ago with the design work through follow ups now we have been extremely pleased. Mark, the owner, is quick to come over when we have any questions or concerns about his work. His crew does great work. We have had the same 5 or 6 workers here for many projects over the past 2 years. It is nice to have someone you know and trust working in your yard. more

Experts in their field! 3/15/2008

We purchased 170 ft. of stone for a wall from this company. All the employees are extreemly helpful. They are highly knowledgeable and a full service company if you prefer to hire a professional. We were pleased with the delivery man, their timeliness, prices, and we even had a visit from the owner when we needed his eye. Our wall is gorgeous and we continue to receive compliments on it. Allen Block is the way to go. I would highly recommend working with this company. You will not be disappointed. more

Just as the name says they will design your yard From The Ground up! If you are not sure just what you want just let the design team here take a look. They'll know just the right thing to spruce up your yard. They will send a group of workers out to your home who will take care of all of the planting and work that needs to be done. If you wish you can also hire them to handle the upkeep of your yard. more
