Frijoles

This is a good mexican restaurant that doesn't have too many frills. The portions are large and the food has a lot of taste! I have never ordered anything that I didn't like and it is always served hot! The staff is friendly but sometimes the language barrier gets in the way . It surprises me every time we visit Frijoles that we aren't having to wait in a line to get in. Strangely, the restaurant is empty almost every time and I've never figured out why. The price is good, the food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and they have salsa dancing. You can see the place from highway 30, but it's a little weird to get back into it so maybe that's part of the reason why it doesn't ever seem to be busy. We love to stop in here when we're really hungry because the portions are generous and you get your food fast. There have been a couple of times when I've been sure that I wasn't going to get what I ordered because the wait staff's English is almost as good as my Spanish, but they've never missed once. If you're hungry for tasty Mexican and don't want to wait forever to get it, check this place out. more
