Freaky 3/27/2006

For the admission price of five dollars you can spend an afternoon being creeped out, freaked out and weirded out without even having to step into a rated XXX store. It it will make you feel better and probably settle your stomach some a lot of the things on display are fake. What's real and what's fake however is for you to decide. Shruken head? Two headed turtle. Sammy Davis Jr's glass eye. Have fun figuring out fact from fiction. more

Something freaky this way comes! 12/30/2005

For a cheap admission price of $5 you see the freakish wonders of the world on display in Freakatorium. Of course whats real and what not is entirely up to you. My guess: Sammy Davis glass eye--Fake 10 legged spider--Real 2 headed turtle--On the fence If you like to have the bejesus scared out of you or just like to be creeped out then maybe this is your scene. For me I'm going home and try not think about that shrunken head and wonder what happened to the rest of its body. more

Freaky! 10/30/2005

A scary, freaky and just plain weird museum where for $5 bucks you can see the freaky knick knacks and what the heck items from years ago. What's real or what's fake is up to you to decide. The shrunken head. A two headed turtle. Sammy Davis's glass eye. Fact or fiction? It's anyones guess. Still not a bad way to spend an afternoon. This place is probably a trip around Halloween. Open from Thursday to Sunday. more

Interesting and Strange 8/16/2005

This is a pretty cool place to go if you are within a few blocks radius and have a little bit of time and money to spend. It is pretty expensive and really small. So it only takes about 20 minutes at the most to walk through and really look at everything. There is also not much walking room so at times it could be hard to maneuver through the crowd to see the items. more

Also known as El Museo Loco, this institution is a welcome revival of the nearly extinct dime museum. As such, you'll get a double sense of wonder as you step inside anachronism...
