Vegetarian Combo with a Glass of Cab....oh yeah 8/14/2006

Frankies Pizzia: We don't go early, so the kiddie time is definitely over. I love the 'scitchy' atmosphere and support this non-chain and friendly staffed pizzaria....try the vegetarian combo with a glass of Cab. Their wine list is great AND they pride themselves in stocking great wines at lower prices. We have found that to be true. more

Too Greasy 8/10/2006

I found Frankies to be too greasy, too nosiy and not the best Italian. Hopefully your experience will be better, but I would not recommend returning. Way too unhealthy anyway! more

Parents often seek kid-friendly environments. Frankie's http://www.frankiesredmond.com/ is a family-owned business that recognizes that the needs of parents require them to provide more than high chairs. Upon request, they give pizza dough for the kids to play with while they wait for the food to arrive. The booths help parents to politely pen in their children. Their fare includes things that children like to eat, and they sell pizza by the slice, so you don't have to take home pizza left-overs if you want something that your children do not want. I may give them one more chance... 3/20/2006

We have been looking for a good (non-chain) pizza place and Frankie's is pretty close to us so we thought we'd give it a try. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered (we ordered it to go) was undercooked! We had to stick it in the oven to get some color on the crust (it was a pale white and not a crisp to it AT ALL). Fortunately the cheese and sauce was pretty good, so it may have been an off-night for the people working there. I'm considering giving them another chance but I'm still on the lookout for that great non-chain pizza place! more
