Frankie & Dino's Ristorante

We used to go to this restaurant regularly and since they have changed ownership, EVERYTHING has declined. The service staff is obviously unhappy and do not make the customers feel as though they are welcome. The food quality and portions have declined in what appears to be an attempt to make more profit without much effort. The owner was down-right rude about a coupon we wanted to use, but she wouldn't honor (even though it had not expired and was a bought coupon from a reputable online coupon source) - She even said to us that since the previous owners had set up the service, she was not obligated to honor it. So much for trying to keep a regular customer base. Overall we were saddened to lose what used to be a cozy, happy, quiet place to go to dinner. We will miss the old Frankie and Dino's. Obviously some people really have had bad experiences. In the last couple years we've been a few times. Sometimes the food was great and sometimes just so-so. I woudn't go there expecting gormet but it's certainly better than some of the fast food Italian. Sadly, it has seemed to decline in quality in the last couple years. Pros: convenient more

My wife and I have to tell you to not step foot in this establishment. EVER! The absolute worst experience in dining, and I have worked in the restaurant business. The food was terrible!!! Half the menu wasn't avail. Their Delmonico steak should be feed to the buzzards. Zero flavor, but that may have been because it was served room temperature, or slightly colder. After nearly an hour and a half of waiting, the manager wouldn't have the courtesy to come and speak to us to hear our grievances. She stood there and actually cussed at us from across her establishment at why we were complaining. I mean, why shout at a customer that has patiently waited for food for an hour and half? A nice Italian restaurant nestled unobtrusively in the corner of a strip mall. The service was great and the food was delicious. Hard to read the dinner specials written with red ink on pink paper with dim lighting. Our waiter was attentive and fun. We will return. Pros: convenient, good service, great food more

My coworkers and I went to Frankie and Dino's a couple of weeks ago, and none of us will ever go back. All 6 of us ordered something different, and all 6 of us had an awful meal. I had shrimp fra diavalo -- the sauce was thick and tasteless. My coworker ordered the special that evening -- some type of clam dish. What he received was a bowl half full of tasteless clams. Nothing else (not even a side of pasta!) came with his meal. Our service was terrible. When the waitress gave someone crab cakes (gross) rather than the calamari that she ordered, all she said was "Ooops! Hope you like crab!" Pros: None Cons: Service, Food more

I attended a rehearsal dinner for a friends wedding at Frankie and Dino's. The service was great as was the food. We had a limited selection of family style dishes, spaghetti and meatball, veal parm, and a chicken and noodle dish. It was all fantastic. The dinner was in a smallish room which wasn't quite big enough for all the people we had, but it wasn't bad. I highly reccomend here for groups. more

My wife and I experienced the foulest catastrophe last night at this horrific dump thats called "Frankie and Dino's". We were sat at the table closest to the kitchen and bathrooms, & without a word from the waiter, the wine list menu was taken from us. I can only assume he thought we couldn't afford it, who knew? So after ordering our food, w/no drinks, he disappeared. Who knew veal could be SO hard and chewy? We were ready to go and so we asked for our check. I tried to pay with my credit/debit card. Our waiter returned with a blank slip of paper with all my card info on it. All of it hand written. He explained that their machine was "down", that I could just sign his little note! My wife & I tried Frankie & Dino's tonight. We were singularly unimpressed. Service was extremely rude & inattentive. The lobster ravoli in saffron cream sauce left an extremely poor mouth feel and the sauce grossly overpowered the ravoli. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo, while better, still lacked any contrasts in flavor. The portions were large, but that was insufficient to make up for the poor quality of everything else. We will not be returning, and will actively disrecommend this establishment. I went to frankie and dinos for the first time saturday night. i thought it would be as good as the old restaurant that was therer il sogno.NOT EVEN CLOSE. The owner first of all was very rude. service horrible .Yes the portions were big, but what was in the plates was horrible.we had a waiter that said he was italian. the hostess lady was very rude she got an attitude because we wanted to sit at another table. i tried to talk to somebody about her and they said she was the owners wife,GO FIGURE.As soon as they told me that they also owned cinellis i knew that i came to the wrong place because the same incident happened there as well.someone please find me the il sogno people and tell them we miss them and there food very very much Pros: portions Cons: , staff more
