AWFUL 11/28/2011

Do NOT send your loved ones here! They have totally screwed up my grandfather's medicine repeatedly! They even went against his primary care doctor's orders. They have made him move several times. He is in his fourth room in the last month or so. Very confusing for him! They director of nursing assured us they would never change his meds without prior notification yet he's been on new meds that make him act wacky for the last week. We are currently looking for a new home for him. more

Horrible care 3/29/2011

I have a family member in Forest Hills. They absolutely are not capable of taking care of her. They were an hour late getting her to dialysis this morning because they forgot she needed to go until she told them. So she only got 2 hours instead of 3 hours she should have got. She has had to beg for a bath and then it was half done. They didn't even have her medications until the next day after she arrived. Her sister had to bring some of her equipment from home. They didn't even home she was supposed to be on Oxygen and have no way to put her on it. The Dr. at the hospital was in too big a hurry to get rid of her and this was the only place they could find to take her. Hopefully she will be well enough to go home soon. more

Poorest Care Facility 11/16/2009

My father was a resident. He was there for physical therapy following a stroke. He had little bowel control. He developed a severe case of what can best be described as diaper rash that became open wounds. The wounds became infected because he sat in his own filth most of the day until a family member came to visit and had him cleaned up. After just a few weeks at the place the infection had spread. He was found unconscious and his organs had begun to shut down. He was admitted to a hospital, place in intensive care and died a few days later. Cons: Neglecent Homocide more
