Best Seafood In Colorado 9/10/2010

Fontenot's really surpassed my expectation for the night. All employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I was really impressed with all features of this restaurant. The food was fresh and tasted excellent. I had the Rajun Cajun shrimp and loved it. My girl friend had the catfish and was just as good. Next time I am in the area, we will be making another stop. If you are passing by or live in the area I would say ""go now"" more

Alway visit when i'm in town! 7/11/2010

My first experience at Fontenot's was years ago and I have been coming back every year since! Their new place is like being in New Orleans. Last year I was able to go twice and tried their lunch on the deck during my visit over the summer, I had their fried green tomato po'boy and a cup of gumbo. I always get the gumbo at dinner but the po'boy is a new favorite. I have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal and always round it out with their bread pudding! I always look forward to my trip to Winter Park and my visit to Fontenot's! Pros: Great food and bar! more

Quality spot 3/21/2009

I was impressed with the quality here. Shrimp cocktail was fresh, caesar salad was cold, crisp, and light on the dressing, probably the best I've had. My steak & fries was a bit disappointing though, filet butterflied and pounded out with a rich cream sauce didn't quite satisfy my want for a good steak, but to my waitress' credit she did offer to not butterfly it, and there was a beurre blanc option, so I could try that steak again and have a much different meal. Pros: Fresh, quality food Cons: No good steaks more

Great food, friendly staff and maybe the best seafood in the mountains 2/15/2007

Great find while taking a couple days to ski in WinterPark while on a trip from NH. Super fresh seafood was superb. Warm atmosphere with fine food and good tunes providing a casual ambiance. Highly recommended. Pros: Food, atmosphere, service were all great. Cons: Wouldn't have changed anything more
