Editorial review from Citysearch 10/24/2012

The Providers and staff at Primary Care Associates are courteous, but hardly professional. My wife use to work there and so i went there for my doctor visits. After several visits the doctors still cannot explain my issue and then ontop of that they charged us the wrong amount. We tried to contact them to resolve the issue, but took several weeks/months to get a call back. We tried to setup a payment plan for all these visits, but what they were asking for was too high and not something we could afford. We tried to call them several times again with no returned calls. Even went to the office in person to try and resolve this, but the billing person was out or away or busy. Other doctors offices will accept $10 a month and we were offering $50 and yet they still said no and then sent us to collections. Still not willing to work with us. Save yourself time and frustration. Go to Medical Park Family Care or ANHC or pretty much any other urgent care in town. more

The providers and staff at Primary Care Associates are professional and courteous. It is convenient that there are several clinics in Anchorage and one in Eagle River. If one cannot get into their primary care provider they can simply go to one of the walk - in clinics for Urgent Care matters. This option is available in the evening and on weekends. Also, if a referral is deemed necessary, the providers will complete the initial workup and refer to the appropriate specialist. This is truly the benefit of having a Primary Care ""Home."" As with all medical clinics, or businesses in general, there are the occasional glitches. However, in my experience, Primary Care Associates provides the best care in Anchorage more

This group will not treat you. They will refer you out for everything. They do not address any issues indepth and love, absolutly love to send you out to others for the job your looking for them to do. Save money, go to the yellow pages. Even simple things like diet and pain get refered out. Do not expect them to get back to you the same day and never call without time to wait on hold. Do not use there emergency clinic unless you know you have your co-pay or the cash, they WILL turn you away. They are all about the money here. Be very careful not to sign anything for billing purposes unless you plan to make it your Bible and you pay every time on time regarless of the condition. Money is the patient with this group. A word to the wise, choose otherwise. Pros: Money, Money Money is the theme of this clinic. Cons: They realy do have a few Dr.s that are exellent but tie their hands and makes good treatment impossible. more
