First impression: NOT GOOD. \r

I wanted to like this place.. a lot! The mobile groomer seemed very nice as I was telling him what I wanted for my cat. 50 mins later my cat comes back in the house with a sloppy Lion cut. He even cut his whiskers on one side..or was that a swipe by mistake with the clippers?? Unfortunately I didn't notice other problems til later that night..the whiskers being one of them. \r

He cut the long natural mane my cat has and made him look like a short haired cat with a makeshift ""Lion cut""..The groomer even missed a few small/tiny patches of fur on his heels and groin area. For $25 I wouldn't have complained...but they charged me $81.25? (I was told by the groomer it would be $80.00.. not sure what the $1.25 xtra was for??). \r

When I spoke to the manager she finally offered 50% refund ( and no apology) after defending how great the groomer is for 10 mins and me being persisitant that I wanted a full refund. After telling her that his mane and whiskers would now take forever to grow back I really wanted a FULL refund. She kept offering to send the groomer back to me..For what? The main complaints that I have.. have to grow back!! The tiny patches he missed I can just do myself. \r

Her attitude got worse when I asked for the owners name. She blurted his name and phone number so fast and was about to hang up on me. I jumped in and asked her to please slow down and repeat his name and number. I said I can hear youre getting upset with me..she said she wasn't and then said ""It's obvious that nothing will make you happy"". Then she hung up on me. \r

Wow. If she didn't hang up on me I would have said..""Yeah giving me all my money back will make me happy"". Things didn't get any better when I called the owner ""Zander"". When he realized I was complaining, he got very edgy and mean with me. He actually was the rudest person (and he's an owner? really?) I have EVER delt with in my life. He has NO customer service skills whatsoever. He wouldn't let me get many words in, kept talking over me or interrupting me then yells that he will give me a refund so I won't bother him again.( I'll beleive that when I see it and I will update this review if he makes good on his word.)\r

I really find it hard to believe this place stays in business with managment and owners like this. I was told that no one has ever complained about ""Fabio's"" work before and that he's been there 6 years. I'm dumbfounded as to why this is. Maybe many don't complain- they just don't go back.?? I don't even consider myself THAT picky. I know Fabio's cell phone was going off as he was bringing my cat in and I was trying to talk to him it kept ringing and he wouldn't mute it. \r

Maybe he was having a bad day?..but shoot.. this was a lot of money to be finding mistakes. I KNOW how a Lion cut is supposed to be done. This was just too sloppy. Some areas were fine but the important front area was all choppy, cut ""in"" too much when I told him to NOT cut the longer mane hair AT ALL. Then the whiskers?? WTF?? Really find it hard to believe they are still in business. If you are considering this place I would ask you to think again. If cats hair didn't take soooo long to grow I would be only 1/2 as upset as I am now. I never had a regular groom by Flying Fur..maybe those are ok but specialty cuts are not thier forte'..nor is having a happy customer.\r
