I ordered a very specific arrangement of all white lilies. Bauers substituted the flowers, using NO lilies, without calling me and giving me a chance to order something else or use another florist. I realize florists sometimes don't have what you want, but I had called to place the order and specifically asked for an arrangement of all white lilies. I've had florists ask me about substitutions before, but I've never had a florist unilaterally decide that I will accept a completely different arrangement. When I complained about it, they refused to honor their guarantee, which is clearly spelled out on their website. They told me I should just accept an apology, and when I pointed out their satisfaction guarantee, I was told they wouldn't honor that. They said a 20% discount is the best they will do. Unbelievable. This wasn't a "close enough" spring bouquet vs. another spring bouquet...it's either a white lily or it isn't...but they won't honor their guarantee.
