I will admit that I can be a little particular when it comes to flowers. I only order from Teleflora florists because I like modern, beautiful arrangements. I placed an order online with Flowers Express on Friday, May 11th, 2012. On the website, when placing an order, there is a box to check to give the florist permission to use substitutions. I ordered from Teleflora, but the order wasn't delivered until the next day even though I placed it within their same day delivery policy. The arrangement was so old school and cheesy looking. It didn't even closely resemble the one pictured on Teleflora's website. The duck was missing the little sailor hat, there was no ribbon and absolutely NO roses. The arrangement was filled with cheap filler flowers like large carnations, daisies and what appears to be daffodils. Was told by Teleflora CS there would be substitutions made unless the order was called in (I ordered online). Their substitution policy states they will only substitute for equal or higher value flowers. I'm pretty sure carnations and daisies are quite a bit LESS expensive than roses! And I don't know what the flroist was thinking sending a 1 year old birthday Mickey Mouse balloon with a new baby arrangement. When did the baby skip an entire year? These people are crazy! Please do yourself a favor and find another florist and call in your order rather than messing around with Teleflora. I ordered on a Friday and the replacement was finally sent that following Thursday. Very incompetent company and CS. Total waste of money and time!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

I ordered a floral arrangement (Dreams from the Heart as shown on their website) for a funeral from the online selection based on the photo and the approximate size. When I called, I was told that the white roses might not be available and that if they were unavailable white hydrangeas would be substituted but the overall size and elegance would not be negatively impacted. Upon my arrival at the funeral home, I saw the arrangement delivered to the funeral home, and I was embarrassed at the size and by the appearance. The lilies shown in the photo were not there, the roses were stuffed together like a child shoved them into the vase, and there were little greenery - unlike the arrangement shown in the photo. The flowers were not arranged like shown in the photo, which made the arrangement appear cheap and amateurish. I was very disappointed with the arrangement. When I called the shop, I was told that the florist thought the arrangement looked nice. Shocker. I will never use this florist again and will apologize to my friend the shoddy arrangement. After the awful flood in May 2010. My boyfriend wanted to send me flowers which was the first one ever and called in an order which was sent to Flower Express. They called me first to confirm i would be at work considering all that our city had experienced in the days prior. After approving the order to be delayed a few days. I was taken a back when seeing the order, it was absolutely breathtaken Peonies were used thru out the arrangement and now planning our wedding we will use the same flowers and Always call on Flower Express with all of our arrangement needs. Including our wedding. Thanks to all of the staff at FLOWERS EXPRESS they truely go above and beyound. more

Diane and Macy at the Harding Pike Store worked together to create my wedding bouquets and they were the most unique and beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. I met with Macy a few weeks before my wedding to discuss the wedding flowers. She sat with me for over an hour looking at pictures and getting an idea of my taste and personality. I brought in a picture of a bridal bouquet I had found online. The bouquet was really unique and had some unusual flowers that none of us had ever seen before. When the bouquets arrived on my wedding day, Diane and Macy had tracked down the unknown flowers and recreated the bouquet exactly, adding their own special touches. When the flowers arrived and I first saw the bouquets, I literally shrieked with excitement and almost cried because they were so perfect! It was definitely a memorable moment. My bridesmaids were extremely impressed with their bouquets too. Also, I must admit that I was not the easiest bride to work with. I changed my mind several times over the weeks leading up to the wedding and the Flowers Express Crew rolled with the punches and never made me feel bad for changing the order over and over. I would highly recommend Flowers Express to anyone looking for amazing flowers for their wedding day and I cannot thank Diane and Macy enough for helping to make my wedding absolutely perfect! Our Family relies on Flower Express for all of our floral needs! The floral arrangements for our daughters' wedding were outstanding! Dereks attention to detail are a rare quality in itself. He has a natural ability to work with the flowers and know which ones work and look better together. I have to say the floral part of her wedding was the only part I didn't worry over. I knew Derek would work his magic and everything would be wonderful, which it was. I can't say how pleased we have been with their work over the years. The compasssion shown when my mother-in-law passed away was appreciated so much. The flowes Derek made for her were exactly what we wanted. In our hearts it was the last thing we could do to show our love for her, and he came through again. Flower Express is the only florist in our book. They have it all; quality, friendly people, dependable, great craftsmanship, and even compassion when the time comes. more
