I came in with a broken Lightning USB charger for my iPhone. Withou needing to explain the issue beyond showing the broken cord, I was given a replacement cord and rung out prompt...

Have had some good experiences, some disappointing - hoping to see improvement. Always willing to pay a little more to stay local and get the service, but not 5X the price on sim...

Outstanding service and outstanding technician 3/9/2011

We have been using Flint Audio Video for at least 16 years and have purchased all types of equipment from them. We like to deal with small, honest companies that stand behind their work. They are nice guys, the service is outstanding, and you don't have to wait. One time, we were leaving on a trip and there was something wrong with my camera. Dan sold me a camera over the phone, loaded it, and had it sent over to me. Also, the tech that comes out, Doug, is absolutely wonderful. He can walk into your house and you don't care whether he knows the passwords to your computer. He's a horse of a different color. I recommend Flint Audio Video all of the time. When I love a company like that, I go out of my way to tell people about them. My brother has purchased equipment from them and so have other people that I've referred to them. I have never heard a bad word about Flint. more

I have been getting all my electronics, TVs sound systems etc from Flint for 15 or 20 years, It is always an easy experience, good information and no pressure sales. Also excellent after sales service more

Saved me after lightning strike! 2/25/2011

So happy for confident knowledgeable help after my home was struck by lighting and I lost almost everything that was plugged in. They did not try to have me buy something that I did not need or want, same day delivery and setup. Extra remedial help with the remotes too! Also helped me with smoe non-Flint things and some of the appraisals for the insurance adjuster. I will not purchase any electronic product without their assistance! more

This kind of service no longer exists.... 12/17/2010

I have purchased home video, audio, computer, and furniture items from Flint Audio in Middletown, RI. since moving here in 2003. I can only imagine the personal door to door service I received is of the same caliber that generations before us received from locally owned businesses. Best Buy and the other chain monster stores may pack their real estate wall to wall with inventory, but at Flint you can count on being taken care of long after the sale has taken place because they truly care about your experience and your long term patronage. more

excellent price but they wanted $99 for delivery and set up. i thought that was excessive. RESPONSE FROM Flint Audio-Video: We we charging $99 during the Black Friday promotions for delivery and setup of those specific sets. All of the Black Friday TV sales, we make between $10-$50 per set, this $99 just covered our cost of sending a van to the customers house to deliver, setup, and run down the new TV.
Any other time this delivery would be FREE of charge. more

EXCELENT SERVICE - WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE 12/14/2010

My husband and I have been working with Flint for over 10yrs now and we have NEVER had a bad experience with them. Everything electronic that we have have in our house has been bought at Flint and the reason for that is there high quality of customer service. If we ever call with a question there is always someone who has the answer and if they need to send someone out to fix something (usually my mistake) it is always as soon as possible. In the past our family has purchased televisions from Flint. The service was always excellent. All of the staff are professional and personable. I recently went in to purchase a case for an ipod touch. I found that although we were there to purchase a very inexpensive item the gentleman that waited on us was just as professional and courteous as if we were buying a much larger item. This impressed me. It is obvious that the staff are chosen carefully. I have and will continue to recommend Flint not only to support local business but because of the lasting impression that they have made with me. They have earned their reputation. more

Outstanding store displays and knowledgeable personnel 12/14/2010

Felt very comfortable dealing with the staff. Tyler Meegan took the time to explain the products and made sure I understood the features of the product. All this technical stuff is often too much, and he made it so I understood why one product would do the job in an easier manner for me. I was glad to have his assistance and will try to seek him out on next visits. more

Knowledgeable staff with low-pressure sales technique 12/14/2010

I usually do alot of research before I buy a product. Flint Audio is one of the stores that I can go to to get quality information and not worry about someone trying too hard to sell me something. They understand some customers won't buy the first time in the store but are often only looking for answers. This is a no pressure, knowledge based business. They know we will be back once we have our answers. more
