Since 1961 I have been going on fishing and hunting expeditions with my family. You can see through our photos that we carry on that tradition today. As an avid outdoorsman I decided to learn taxidermy in the late 1980's by attending an accredited taxidermy school in my home state of Pennsylvania.I tested for and received my taxidermy license in Pennsylvania and worked at it part-time. I won awards for some of the very first fish I mounted. It was then that I developed a passion for fish taxidermy and even today remain amazed at the vivid brilliance and beauty of the fish we catch.Several years later I moved west to Wyoming to enjoy the great outdoors of the Rocky Mountains. I became a licensed Taxidermist there as well.In July of 2011 I realized my lifelong dream of moving to Alaska. Although I have been a licensed assistant big game guide here for many seasons and visited many times, I am happy to make Alaska my permanent home and place of business.
