Summer 2005, we stayed at the Fisherman's Widow, a quaint B&B with 2 guest rooms, and modest accomodations. The hosts were friendly, and the breakfast was light (muffins and fruit). We reserved the bigger room, and arrived only to be assigned the smaller room because "the guests who had stayed the previous night wanted to stay longer." Our room was adjacent the kitchen and had a river view, but was musty and smelled; it was also in sore need of dusting. Noise from the kitchen kept us up late. There was a sag in the bed, which caused us to sleep in separate beds. During the night we awoke to the dripping rain from the eaves; there was no gutter. We still paid full price (the higher cost of the bigger room that we had reserved.) Needless to say, the Fisherman's Widow was disappointing and we won't be going back.
Pros: Small
Cons: Smelly
