First United Methodist Church seeks to make disciples for Jesus Christ. We seek to relate people to Christ, connect people to the body of Christ, and reach out in love and concern to the world. Our vision is simple. We want to love people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this as we welcome persons into the body of Christ, lead persons to profess their faith in Christ, nurture persons through learning, worship, sacraments, and spiritual discipline, and send persons into the world to live in loving and just ways.
