The man from First Response showed up late and was very rude. He initially quoted me about $400 to replace the parts for my water heater, which I found should typically cost less than $200. He changed the elements without draining the water, so it was a messy job. I heard him cursing a few times before he went out to get the hose. Also, he asked me why I was standing there watching him, which I found to be a bit offsetting. And when I told him that I had recently moved in, he asked if I came from China. I found that extremely inappropriate. He had a very unprofessional demeanor overall.\r

Once he finished, he left the trash and old elements on the ground for me to clean up. The water heater worked for one day and now is broken again. I wasn't able to receive a refund, although First Response offered to replace the heater for an additional expense (however, still more expensive than an offer from another plumber).\r

I would not recommend this company, based solely on my experiences with Mr. Williamson, and have decided to hire someone else.\r
