I had a check engine light that I read with a $40 code reader that I own. I needed an O2 sensor replaced. I called and was quoted a price of $200. I showed up the next week at 7 am when the store opened and told the clerk that I needed the Downstream O2 Sensor replaced and that I already knew the code status. 2 hours later, I was told that the O2 Sensor had failed, my plug wires were shot and I had an oil leak. I just had the wires changed less that a year ago, and I change my own oil so I know the leak was BS. Then I was told it would be $300 to replace the O2 sensor, $99 for the computer check. Who the hell told you to put it on the computer? If I come in for an oil change that I know needs done, do you test the oil and bill clients $99? How about low air in a tire? ""We checked the gauge and you're right, that's $99."" AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS! They take advantage of inexperienced people who know nothing about cars.
