Frustrating Volkswagon Dealer 10/28/2005

I have been very frustrated with this place on a number of occasions. They have "lost" my reservation twice, and they have told me that my 5-year warranty does not apply (after I spoke with the manager and showed them a copy of the warranty, they changed their mind). They have diagnosed a problem, only to be unable to diagnose it when I returned to have the problem corrected. I think they are overbooked and their customer service shows it. The only bright spot in my trips to Fiore is the sweet man who drives you home (or to work). more

Fiore Volkswagon 9/2/2005

Everybody I spoke to is very nice on the phone and in person, but this place is VERY poorly organized. I've been there twice and both times they had no record of my appointment. Both times they told me they would not accept my extended warranty (and both times they were incorrect, after I spoke with the manager at both Fiore and the VW dealer who sold it to me). They have had my car for 2 days and still have no idea why the check engine light is on, but, they have never called to update me -- I have had to call myself. (meanwhile, I am supposed to be at work) They have somebody (a very nice man called Gus) who can drive you home or pick you up, but his hours are intermittent, and Fiore doesn't seem to care if you are stranded. My car was kept overnight and I said that would be okay if Gus could come pick me up the next day (to get my car)-- but they did not tell me Gus was not working, so I had to take a cab. I've been very frustrated with this place. Even though I live in Warwick and it's more convenient, I think I'll go to Scott in East Providence from now on. more
