Ficocello's Advanced Training

Ficocello's advanced training center is a fabulous place to get a trendy or classic cut at an affordable price. Haircuts start at less than $20 and are done by a professional who has completed beauty school but is receiving advanced training from Rick Ficocello and his advisers prior to working in a full service Ficocello salon. They also do coloring, foils, perms, straightening, and updo's. All of the services are performed by the "students" but the instructor oversees the whole process. I prefer this training center over other beauty schools in the Twin Cities because they have all already graduated and are now building on their knowledge. I have received a full foil, a hair cut, and several products for under $100. A fabulous find, they take walk ins, but it is wise to make an appointment. more

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE FICOCELLO'S TRAINING CENTER FOR QUITE SOME TIME,AND THE LAST TIME THAT I WENT I TOOK MY BOYFRIEND WITH ME AND THEY GOT HIM IN FOR A HAIRCUT WHILE I WAS GETTING MY HAIR FOILED! THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON HIS HAIR AND EVEN TALKED HIM INTO GETTING A WHOLE NEW STYLE!! I ALSO LOKE HOW THE GIRLS ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TOO,AS THEY ARE NEVER IN A RUSH AND THEY ARE PROUD OF THIER WORK AND IT SHOWS!! more

I have been going to the Ficocello Advanced Training Salon for over a year, and I couldn't be happier! The only problem I have found is that once I find a good stylist, she graduates to a senior stylist and leaves! My favorite person there is Sara. She does a fantastic job on highlights. She has really great instincts when it comes to color. In addition, she's the friendliest person around, and she's also really funny. I've never had her give me a haircut, but I 100% vouch for her color skills. Also, the store has great hours and is really accomodating if you need an appointment. more
