I came here with my mother for dinner and I'm sorry to say I was totally disappointed. I ordered butternut squash soup which was good. The caesar salad however was way below average. It's my favorite salad ever and theirs tasted nothing like I've ever had before. Even my mom said something was wrong with it. So I figured maybe I just needed a little more dressing but that's when we figured out the dressing was the problem so there's no fixing that. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked and really the only good thing about our meal. Our server was completely snarky and she seemed like she was rushing us (only 4 tables were occupied so there was no big demand for seating). They're getting 2 stars and not 1 because the fried calamari was good but not good enough to make me come back and try anything else. more

I was at Fetch a few days ago with a couple friends. We had a very good experience . The food was very good. I order the lamb shanck and it was excellent. My friend got the cheesesteak and he loved it. Every one was very haply and the service was very good. Every one there is amazingly friendly. I was even a pain and asked for a few things, condiments, etc and everyone was eager to please us. We will definitely be back and I would recommend Fetch to all of my friends! P. S. The decor is ADORABLE! Cute dogs everywhere! Love it!! more

Fetch is fantastic! Classic american comfort food, comfy friendly atmosphere, excellent service. Love love lovvve their mac n cheese (as good as grandma's homemade!) and the loco moco for dinner. If you go for brunch, try their cinnamon raisin french toast (delicious!) or anything with thier tasty hollandaise sauce (love the huevos rancheros). The atmosphere is dog friendly and they're active in animal rescue and adoption. Their walls are plastered with dog pictures, you can eat with your dog in their outside cafe area and they have a mission to help homeless animals in and around nyc. I appreciate that they practice what they preach. Take a look at their adoption wall! You may just find yourself a new pet :-) They've got something for everyone and you won't be disappointed! more

The food is top notch! I really enjoy the philly cheesesteak eggrolls at dinner & salmon scramble for brunch! The selection is extensive, the atmosphere is cozy and unique (COVERED with dog portraits), and the service is outstanding. I recommend it. more

I have been a regular at Fetch for almost three years now and I will be back for many more. The atmosphere and fun loving staff make you feel right at home, which is fitting since what they do best is COMFORT FOOD! Their mac n cheese is nothing short of amazing! The portion is huge and you can add anything you want for just $1 (I recommend the mushrooms and bacon). They claim to have an ""original Philadelphia cheese steak"". As a Philly native I was skeptical...I was wrong to be. I was shocked when I saw that they used actual Amoroso roles. Their cheese steak is as close to an authentic Philly steak as you can get in NYC. The beer and wine lists are very well rounded and they offer a different set of ""signature"" drinks on both their brunch and dinner menus. The drinks all have cute and catchy little dog names. The ""Best In Show"" margarita is my favorite. It's huge, it's strong and it's well priced. The best part about Fetch is that they have a mission, apart from great food, they strive to help homeless shelter pets find homes. It's a feel good kind of place, with feel good kind of food and a mission you can feel good about. Go Fetch! more

There isn't enough good that I can say about Fetch. I went one afternoon just to meet up with a friend after work and have been hooked ever since. The food is incredible. To call it simply comfort food is not doing this menu justice. Sure it has all of your favorite foods, but it has completely turned them on their head. It may seem like the menu is stocked with familiar classics but your taste buds will be completely awed and your belly will be happy with the large portions. Plus, just when you think there has to be some downside to such a great place, there is the wonderfully courteous staff making the whole experience that much better. Add in that they give to charity and help homeless animals get adopted and you find yourself in a truly incredible upper east side gem. more

I have been to Fetch four times so far, and it never disappoints. Though the place always seems packed, I almost never have to wait for a table. The one time I had to wait, we sat comfortably at the bar and had a drink. The hostess was so apologetic that we had to wait 15 minutes. Pros: great food, friendly & prompt service Cons: ? more

I LOVE this place. The decor is super cute and perfect for dog lovers. My boyfriend and I have dinner here pretty much any time I'm in the city. The tables are intimate and not too fussy. There is usually only a small candle, sometimes flowers. The food is delicious, big portions and reasonably priced. :) Pros: Food, fast service, not pushing Cons: lighting-- a little hard to see the menu! more

I've been going to fetch for 4 years now...great burgers! The service is always friendly and the owner and his wife are almost always around circulating and greeting the customers. They have tons of cute pictures of dogs all over the walls that customers have brought it....bring yours in a frame and they will hang it up! They let you dine in the front with your dog during the warmer months. A great place that I will continue to visit. Pros: Great burger, good service more

I normally go for places that have new and interesting food, but Fetch is one of the few places I keep going back to for the basics. The meatloaf is fantastic and the burgers are perfect, especially the burger bowl (burger and an egg over rice and smothered in gravy anyone?) The salads all taste very good, especially the Adam's Apple salad and the Asian steak salad. I don't recommend the philly cheese steak rolls unless you follow the Cheez Whiz school of cheese steak perfection (I prefer real cheese in mine). The calamari is grilled instead of fried, making it simply delicious. The only complaint I have is that I enjoy a bourbon and Coke with my dinner and the Coke in this place is always very flat. I have loved Fetch for many years. When you're looking for a good neighborhood place, this is it. Love the beer, the brunch, the steak, the mashed potatoes and the burgers. My only complaint is that they don't change the menu much and don't have any daily specials (well they say they switch up the soups and risotto but it seems like the options are always the same). I'm writing this in hopes that the owners will see it. Hey owners/chef- we'll come to Fetch more often if you change up the menu a bit or just start doing daily/weekly specials to spice it up a bit. We love Fetch but get bored sometimes. I've tried almost everything on the menu and would love some new choices! Pros: Great beer, tasty food, outdoor seating Cons: Menu doesn't change much. My new favorite place to eat. The food is great (and so is the wine!), the service is wonderful-friendly and polite-and the atmosphere is just wonderful. I am taking all my friends there now!
