Festive Board the

I have too much to say, and it won't all fit here. Ed is nice from the beginning, but after you pay him any money, he turns rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. He told me that we could recalculate and adjust the cost if I ended up changing anything. He told me I could change anything I wanted as many times as I wanted up until about a week before. But then he threw a fit everytime I wanted to change something and never recalculated the cost! He took forever to return my calls the closer it got to my wedding. He and his entire staff were rude to me and my mother. He'll tell you the most expensive thing you're paying for is service, but then when you remove the service, he won't give you any money back! The food was too spicy (I didn't even ORDER anything spicy.) The chicken cor don bleu didn't have bacon in it. The punch was given to us in a pickle bucket, you could still taste the pickle juice and smell it. WORST experience. DO NOT GO TO FESTIVE BOARD! RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. ARROGANT, LIAR! more

Watch out if you let Festive Board cater your meal! We loved working with Ed. We felt very confident that our meal would be delicious. However....our food was terrible!!! When I saw the disgusting food display on my plate, my eyes began to water. Then when I tasted it, I was totally embarrassed. The chicken was so hard that people thought it was pork! It had some crumbly stuff on top, which was unidentifiable. It was supposed to be chicken marsala. The vegetables were mushy green globs that were also unrecognizable. To this day, I still don't think they were the spring medley that was on the menu. They actually blamed the gross food on OUR ceremony starting late!!! It did start late, however, we skipped the pictures afterward so we could get back on the time track. Our cake then began to melt so we had to cut it before it was time. They didn't even have all the agreed upon food on the plate! When we complained, they gave us a small amount of money back for the missing item, but never compensated us for the crappy food. I mean, it must have been bad when a grandma complains! Half of the dinners went back uneaten. It truly was a disappointment on our special day when you pay so much for something so important to you and it isn't done right, not even close! more

The Festive Board Deli located in Queensgate Shopping Center has long been a York County favorite! Locally owned and operated it offers some of the finest food you'll find anywhere! The chicken salad is absolutely to die for (and to drive miles for!) You can buy it in various quantities, or simply as a sandwich on your choice of bread. Soups, salads, breads and deli meats are available in a dazzling variety. It's all freshly prepared on the premises. Parking is ample, prices are fair and the food is fab! Check it out! more

The Festive Board has wonderful delicacies to impress your guests. They have more gourmet foods than many businesses in the area. They have a delicious chicken salad. Cheesecake that is out of this world. You can order large quantities to go, and they also offer sandwiches and soups for lunch. It is easily located in Queensgate Shopping Center. I highly recommend that you stop by and experience it for yourself. more
