I bought my car through Fathers and Sons VW, and used to have all my service done through them. The purchase experience was pretty good, relatively easy as these things go but they were not entirely honest. I was trading in a Jetta for exactly the same model only it turns out I got the next one "down" from my original with plastic seats instead of cloth, etc. By the time I realized it, it was too late. They sold me an extended warranty package through some 3rd party vendor (I'm sure the fine print was explicit but it was represented as their own service agreement) and now that the 3rd party has gone bankrupt, I'm out of luck. The folks at Fathers and Sons service say they don't know anything about it, they don't have any contact into, no website, etc.
