Who are these people? who rate a Farm Supply Store as dirty? crowded? hey you uptight Liberals go back to Seattle or better yet California. Wow what planet are you on anyway? Oh and let me say one thing, I can spell without using spellcheck. But lets get back to abuse, Do you have a problem eating Big Macs? you should you mamby-pamby activist, poor cows in feed lots. Chicken tenders? chickens raised in terrible conditions! or just about any other food item you can think of. I am a small farmer who raises quality animals but... yes the farm smells like sh..... sometimes does that mean I am an abusive farmer? no. That's the problem with you Liberals, a Breeder raises puppies and has been sited in the past and now... heaven forbid they are terrible people, where the heck do you think Pet Smart gets their animals? from Safeway parking lots? Farmland has been selling quality products for a long time and I will continue to support them. more

Puppy mill! Stay far away! 11/8/2012

Under no circumstance buy from this store. They sell poor puppy mill pets.... I didn't educate myself before I bought my lab. They have me the paperwork after I paid 675.00 for what I thought was a pure lab. I looked up the breeder and what do you know, puppy mill!!! First off real breeders won't and don't sell to pet stores. I can't imagine my pups mom and dads life and what his was like the first month or so. Stop shopping here, get people to know to stop. I'm in for a long expensive road but love him regardless. Don't make the same mistake and most importantly stop supporting puppy mills! more

Known Puppy Mill Seller! Shop elsewhere! 4/6/2012

Store is dirty and crowded. Farmland has been known for years for it's poor store conditions and selling puppy-mill puppies. The puppies are kept in small wire bottomed cages or metal water troughs depending on their size. \r \r Farmland gets all of it's puppies from the same puppy mill in Kansas, BJ & Guys, who has had as many as 1,500 dogs at their facility at one time and has been cited by the USDA multiple times for violating the Animal Welfare Act. Dogs and puppies in rusty, dangerous cages, dogs & puppies in cages so small they hardly have room to stand up- that's where Farmland's puppies come from. For more information and to see the USDA reports for yourself visit the Facebook group Kitsap Against Puppymills http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kitsap-Against-Puppy-Mills/217900901606604\r \r I refuse to shop there for anything! If you want a pet, go to the Kitsap Humane Society or a quality breeder, if you want feed & supplies, look elsewhere! more

Puppy mill alert 7/18/2011

Awful. NEVER buy a puppy here no matter how nice the people are these poor puppies are puppy mill digs and dozens have been found to have parasites, joint health problems and diseases. The employees do what they can but expect a huge vet bill If u take a chance with one of their puppies more

GREAT SHOP 2/13/2010

i buy all my fish and supplies from this shop... i know most the people who work there.... the puppies are never mistreated and the fish tanks are well cared for ... for whoever said they were dirty doesn't no jack. Fish NEED bacteria in the water or they die... note a prior review... petsmart + surgical level sterile = DEAD fish.... if your going to be all gun ho about animal rights at least know whats actually good for them.... this is why hippies need to stop smoking herb and learn things hell maybe go to college instead of the job core and stop this stampede of ignorance Pros: friendly employees, real farm feel, and great selection of p more

Puppies in trouble 1/15/2009

unbelieveable, Puppies stuffed two in one small cage with wire bottoms. Dark-horrible. One kennel supplies every breed (puppy Mill). It is defended as being USDA approved which means nothing. Buying your dog here just supports this ugly industry. more

Old and danky but....... 1/25/2008

Yes, Farmland Feed and Garden is somewhat dirty and crowded but their fish supplies, types of freshwater fish, and of course expertise is awesome. Only one person is very knowledgable with the fish department I am not going to mention her name but if go there you will find who she is; so if you need exotic fresh fish and plants supplies she will help competely. Don't buy puppies they are from mills. Petsmarts fish I have to say are not very good: they all died. I have fish that are not from there and are doing well, not Petsmarts fish. more

Horrid and vile 12/12/2007

I will usually support the local but this place is horrible and vile. I do not know why people want to support a business like this. Puppies come from the midwest (can you say - puppy mill). Store is dirty, cages/fish tanks are dirty, and animals are dirty. Any person with an ounce of compassion for animals will not shop here (ask your vet if they would buy an animal from this place). Go to Petsmart in Silverdale, Dels in Port Orchard or Cenex in Poulsbo for animal supplies. Get your puppy from a shelter, rescue or reputable breeder. Pros: locally owned Cons: Everything else more
