I am so sorry to say that the experience I have had with Paul's business has been one of the most awful stressful things I have ever had to put my family through. I was referred to Paul by a trusted business associate four years ago. When I first contacted the office, my phone call was returned by Janelle. At that time I did not know this was his wife and was immediately put off. When I am referred to an individual I expect that person return my call. I was however pleasantly surprised, Janelle was very professional and did everything she could to get our overall rate as low as possible. Understand that Farmers is one of the most expensive insurance companies out there. You would expect excellence for what you pay for.\r \r This brings me to where is all fell apart. Janell took a job at ""Corporate"" and Patricia came in to do Janelle's job. \r \r We have Home Owners coverage, four cars and five drivers. When My son decided to purchase a motorcycle somehow our entire premium increased 25% for a total of $3700 for six months. We inquired about the increase and were told that happens when you add an inexperienced driver. Fine, however this was the third inexperienced driver we had added as he is our youngest child. \r \r Growing up I believed in creating long term relationships with the people you do business with. Not sure what happened here but it all fell apart. We asked for options to lower our premium and were told that we would actually have to spend more money to save money, by purchasing life insurance or other services. Not sure how this was going to solve the problem we decided to cancel all our policies and just go elsewhere. \r \r Let me say at this point I had still never spoke to Paul who I was actually referred to initially. \r \r With the attempt to cancel our policies created a whole new set of issues. From Patricia lying about having phone numbers to call us on when we had received calls from her before, to it taking weeks to get refunds and Patricia just saying ""I don't know why they would hold your check "" I really felt the need to let the public know this agent is not out for the consumer and will back his staff no matter what. \r \r I have now actually spoken to Paul, however he still stands behind his office manager saying she is one of the best out there. She has lied, been rude and is completely incompetent. If Paul wants to save any sort of his business he will need to take control of his office and demand some sort of costumer appreciation. more
