Great place, I couldn't be happier! They are very nice and unlike other places that make you wait an eternity for an emergency appointment they take care of you right away. What I liked the most is the optimum service rendered by the doctor and staff. Which is what I was more concern with. I have been a patient since 2001 and never had any treatment that wasn't required. Dr.Farahnick won't perform any treatment that is not require nor will he do it without giving you options, give you clear and concise details of the treatment and what to expect. His work when done its like art. I am very happy and when it comes to my teeth I wouldn't trust anyone else but him. Believe me when I say I have been to places before meeting him that a) didn't care for the patient, b) provided no information on your require or recommended treatment, c) their main focused was not my teeth but how much money they could make and rush to do everything in a half hour so they could see the other patients, d) the doctor wouldn't even look at me when i ask questions and the work was of poor quality and performed very poorly.\r If you are looking for a great dentist look no further, Dr.Farahnick is simply the best. more

I used to dread visits to the dentist, but dr. farahnick has changed that. he really helped me during my emergency, even though it was a sunday afternoon. plus, he is honest such that he didn't recommend anything more than the treatment that i needed, where other dentists might have added on more services just to make more money. he is easy to talk to and his assistant Indie is nice, too. they keep the clinic very neat and artsy. his clinic is a good hour away from my place, but the trip is worth it. i've recommended him to everyone i know! more

i was referred to Dr. Farahnick through my sister, i was very pleased with the reception and the follow up treatments. the office is very clean. he is competent in the work he performed on my teeth and i had no pain during nor after the work was done. i will be happy to refer him. I had the worst botch job done by this ""dentist"". He is rude, arrogant and neither he or his staff have an ounce of bedside manner. He has a horrible attitude and can't even administer a simple novacaine injection without puncturing your mouth a dozen times, leaving you black and blue, extremely swollen and in excrutiating pain. What amazes me is that he even has a license to practice. There are enough real dentists in NYC that it`s not necessary to visit this scam artist. Cons: NO IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING AND HAS AN AWFUL STAFF!! more

Not sure about your sense of humor the comment above if you find him funny, I didn't. He should just get to work and not rant on and on. Personally I prefer to keep things professional when I see my doctors, yes be friendly, but not corny and desperate for attention and laughs. I think he thinks he's funnier than he really is, seriously, focus on my teeth man and less on trying to get laughs from patients. I'll see someone else next time. I had Dr. Michael Farahnick DDS recommended to me a year and a half ago by \r several co-workers that used his services.\r \r Not only did he take care of years of neglect and an improper\r veneer job that I had done five years ago. But he gave me virtually ""Pain Free"" care.\r \r Treated with respect and understanding of my fears attributed to past dental experiences. Dr Farahnick takes his time to explain to me how he could fix my smile and correct the damage that was done due to the unsuitable job that was done before our meeting.\r \r It was a long process and making the trip across town was not the most convenient but as soon as you are in his chair he makes you laugh and feel at ease and makes the trip worth it. \r He always personally calls the next day to check on how you are doing and feeling.\r That's just one more thing that he does that I feel other doctor's\r could take a lesson from.\r \r I consider my self very lucky to have him as my Dentist\r and will continue to use him as long as he is in practice.\r \r Debra A Rapoport\r Montclair New Jersey Pros: Location near most transportation, Pleasent atmosphear.state of the art equipment Cons: Busy and availability for appointments can be difficult at times. more
