Fantasy for Adults Only

After a recent bad experience at Cathie?s on 82nd Ave. (please see review on their page) I decided to give Halloween 1 last chance this year. All I wanted to do was find something fun and attractive to be able to wear out to the parties I?m going to. The instant I walked in the doors, I knew that this would be a better place to shop! The store was beautiful! The sales staff that I spoke with were understanding of the fact that I am a bigger girl, and walked me around to all sorts of wonderful costumes available in my size. They didn?t look down on me because I?m not built like a twig and were able to set me up with an entire outfit from head to toe! There were even a couple more items that I decided to get, but even though they didn?t have my size at that location, they were able to tell me what location I could get them at, and even offered to have them transferred in if it would be easier for me! From what I saw here, I would send anyone and everyone I know to them! (I shopped at the Downtown location, but I?m sure that all of them are run the same!) I last shopped at this store in January '07. The guy who helped me was possibly the most helpful 'adult' clerk I've ever had. I'm a long term Fantasy customer (though not at this store) and decided to check out this store because I've never been in it before. Compared to the other Fantasies I've visited it is very well lit, very clean, and the store has a friendly "aura" about it. The toy/video selection isn't anything to write home about (more than some of their stores, less than others), but they have a good selection compared to the other companies in the general area. I also find it nice when people greet you without it feeling like they're trying to push you into buying stuff as soon as you walk in the door. I dealt with two clerks while in the store. Thew lady that helped me was clearly knowledgeable, it just felt like she had something else on her mind the whole time... like I wasn't very high on her priority list. The guy that helped me treated me with respect and made me feel completely at ease. This positive recommendation aside I still have the new reservations about the company that I illicited in the review of the store on Sandy Blvd. Upper-management seems to be changing things for this company.
