Piper recently booked a cruise for my husband's boss and family from out of town. They were given the best VIP treatment and said the food, service and atmosphere were amazing. What an experience! Everything was just exceptional. From the VIP arrival to the outstanding service, to the quality food and brilliant views. We had family in visiting from out of town and this was the perfect environment for conversation, dancing, and good times. I would highly recommend the Big White Boat on Clear Lake. We have taken our associates out on the yacht for four years now and each year is better than the last. From Piper, who arranges the event, Captain Lonny who takes us on the cruise, to all the team members who take great care of us on the yacht, it is a great adventure for all of us. If you're looking for a fun & relaxing atmosphere than this is ""The Place to Be"". I've been on several public and private cruises with several different companies and this is by far the best! Not only is the yacht always in tip top shape, but the staff are so helpful and go out of their way to ensure you are having a great time. Everyone is so pleasant, maybe it's the bay air, or maybe they just enjoy their job. Whatever it is, it's contagious. Can't wait to cruise again! more

I’m writing as Mother of the Bride so as not to be written off as a Bridezilla. I’m a professional business analyst and will be as objective as I can. The wedding was a beautiful experience; Captain Lonnie was a perfect addition, administering the vows while we passed the lighthouse. The staff assigned worked hard, and to them we say thank you. But, it was very frustrating to work with the Sales & Mrktng Dir. It wasn't until 3 days before the wedding that she began to communicate with us. Our daughter tried on many occasions to communicate through emails and phone calls, and there wasn't 1 single response back to her until a few days before the wedding, causing much stress and anguish. Even my phone calls went unanswered. We heard many reasons why she didn't respond: she was sick, took her 1st vacation in 17 yrs, forgot her phone charger, etc. However, a real professional knows to return a phone call or leave an 'out-of-office' message response to emails. On Mon, Aug 2nd, 4 days before the wedding, our daughter sent an email asking the Sales & Mrktng Dir to call her by 5:00 p.m. that day but received nothing! I stopped by the FantaSea office at 5:30 pm; it was closed. On Aug 3rd, we finally received an email from the Sales & Mrktng Dir, apologizing and explaining in a very sophomoric way, using CAPS and little ~'s, and saying she was “Soooooooo sorry”, as if we were teenagers. We asked that she not be on the boat during the wedding, because of her incompetence, unprofessionalism, extremely poor communication and the anguish she caused us. And, although the wedding charter was very memorable, the aggravation and frustration will also be remembered. If you are looking to charter this boat, ask to deal with someone other than the Sales & Mrktng Dir. To the staff of FantaSea who supported our daughter's wedding, we say 'Thank You'. To the Sales & Mrktng Dir, please never treat others the way you treated our daughter and please take lessons in common courtesy. more

Went on a business trip to Houston and decided to take a cruise and relax. Went on one of the ""FantaSea Party Cruises"". Wow! What a great time I had! People at fantasea were wonderful to me and the food was outstanding. But most of all I met a woman on the cruise. She was with her girlfriends having dinner. We dance and had a wonderful time together. We have been seeing each now for three months and decided to get married. We plan on having our wedding at fantasea cruises. We have called them about our wedding plans and they have been so great and understanding about our needs. My girlfreind and I wanted a romantic time and decided to take a one evening cruise. We never did this before and picked fantasea cruises. Had a great time. I have cruised with Fantasea on the Big White Boat several times over the past few years. They have the nicest boat on the lake with great food, great people, and great value. The public cruises are alot of fun and my sons graduation party was a very classy event that he will remember all of his life. I highly recommend these guys!! I was recently tasked with the job to arranging a corporate celebration for my employer. Most people were interested in a party boat type celebration. I interviewed and/or visited almost every party boat on Clear Lake. I chose Fanta Sea after much deliberation. It was a great choice. The management and staff were courteous and helpful. The food, drinks and disc jockey were great. P.S. I noticed some negative remarks on the City Search from a girl named Ashley. The day I visited she was being fired. I am not sure why, but from what I overheard she needed it. Sour Grapes I guess. Pros: Great food, helpful staff Cons: Short walk from parking to boat-no real problem more

The management of this company (Piper) sells you a good line, but her follow thru SUCKS. I paid a lot of money for a party on this boat and the day of the event ran into a bunch of problems that most could have been avoided had this manager (Piper) been available, but I was unable to contact her. Several extra services I paid for were not followed thru, and in fact, the boat crew seemed totally clueless that they were supposed to provide these extra services and told me management had not informed them of it. When I contacted management after the event for a partial refund, I got none, nor did I get any apology or explanation of what went so horribly wrong. In summary, if you want a nice boat cruise, w/o the expensive bells and whistles, Fantasea is fine. But if you are planning a really special event, where attention to detail is important, go somewhere else. I was supposed to have my wedding aboard one of Fantasea's yachts- DIDNT HAPPEN. One of the captains of the boat put water in the gas tank. Seriously how stupid (or probably drunk) can you be. My wedding was pretty much ruined. I wouldn't recommend a wedding aboard a yacht- too risky with these people. Oh, and no refund or reimbursement whatsoever. Cons: incompetent staff more

The FantaSea is a great place for romance! My fiance and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner cruise aboard the FantaSea and we had a very wonderful time!
