I have had a storage unit since 2011 at the Lebanon, OH facility. After learning of the 10% rate increase to my rental fee, I called to inquire about the rate hike. The person who answered the phone raised her voice and acted like a defensive 13 year old on a rant to my question about the 10% increase. I shared a concern that the exit key pad had not worked since the first day I entered the unit. I when onto discuss how there have not been improvements to justify the large rate hike. I did not raise my voice even after her accelerating teenage comments and poor customer service. The employee hung up the phone 4 times when I tried to get a manager name to discuss the feedback I wanted to share on the maintenance issues. In fairness of disclosure, I did call the girl a ""smarty pants"" as she was acting like one in the course of her rant to my comment and initial phone call. The Lebanon facility is not customer friendly and has had mechanical issues with the key pad that has been broken for the time I have been storing item there.
