Worst

I've been there several times, the massage are good but the rooms are really smal and stuffy and they charge the same price as Exhale. I rather go to Exhale.

They almost cured my lower back pain with their massage. I'm saying "almost" just because I had it for years, not too terrible, but strong enough to pay attention to it. But they definitely make my life easier, that's for sure. Highly recommended. more

For my birthday I recieved for the Busy Person Package. It was a scrub, massage and facial. The service was fantastic. And the package is only $149. It was a great gift. more

Try this place 2/24/2010

I got a Dead Sea Mud Wrap with a Deep Tissue Massage and Basic Holistic Facial. The only thing I was not sure of is which service I loved more. I was stressed and I left feeling great. Pros: spa treatments more

I went in for a body scrub, and loved every minute of it! My skin felt very soft afterwards, and it was so relaxing. I'd had a very long, very stressful week and decided to pamper myself. I had never been to Ettia and decided to give it a try, and it was one of the better ideas that I've had in awhile. The prices at Ettia are very reasonable, and they have great deals! I definitely plan on returning and trying out some of their other services! Pros: Welcoming staff, clean office Cons: A little hard to find from the street more

A PERFECT MASSAGE AFTER THE NYC MARATHON 12/21/2009

I came here with my 2 girlfriends after we ran the marathon and we love this place. The massages were fantastic (just what we needed). And we have had massages all over. My massage therapsit Irina who is also a black belt did some great stretching. My friends were happy as well. We have been back twice and have an appointment set up for after the holidays. If you are feeling stressed out I highly recommend this place. I have been there many times and have never had a bad experience. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I have also been to exhale and there is no comparison. Ettia you pay for the service and Exhale you pay for the d?cor. I would rather pay for the service. Pros: great service nice people more

Busy Person Package was exactly what we needed - 5 stars 10/2/2009

I went to Ettia?s Spa because I was staying in the hotel nearby on the Upper West Side nearby. I am very glad it did. I highly recommend the Ettia Busy Person Package. It is a scrub, massage and facial. Even though my daughter and I had different people we both left very happy. It was exactly what we needed. Not what I wanted, bummed. 9/23/2009

Id called and asked for irene, hearing she was a great massues. Said Id like to do reflexology on my feet. Great . Irene? yes we have an Irene here. OK great. Got there, lovely girl Irena. Didnt know reflexology, at all. Then she said well alot of people dont like it hard? Im like its reflexology, its pressure points. I left said to clerk, that was terrible. We talked the whole time , cause she didnt know how to do reflexology, and her name is Irena not Irene, shes like oh ya Irene is good, been here a long time. I wanted Irene. I specifically asked for Irene. He said WEVE NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT, AND STARED BLANKLY. Ive looked up yelp n this they have had some complaints, he just kept saying, in shock, weve never had a complaint from anyone, I said how is that helpign me. Never again. Dont go here. Id go to Felines....I hear theyre lovely.... Pros: Got in fast , I wonder why. Cons: bad customer service, and conflict resolution. more

I recently got a massage here and loved it. The masseuse was very strong and did a great job of getting out all my knots (and I always have a few). The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing and I am looking forward to going back for another one. more

Very good massage and facial 1/29/2009

My boyfriend went there for a deep tissue massage and facial (I forgot the name of the package) and just had a great experience. We were 20 minutes late and still received all our time. I hate when spas cut your time. When we are back in the city we will be back. Pros: great service and gave us our full time even when we were running late. Cons: small waiting room more

Great customer Svce. and Amazing Treatments! 10/28/2008

I called last minute, and got a same day appointment. The spa was responsive over email, and telephone. When I got there, I was in a rush, and in a lot of pain. I got a massage with Irene and let me tell you, she took the time to listen to me and to find out what was hurting and where she needed to focus on. During the massage I could clearly see that she focused on my problem areas and didn't give me a 'routine' massage. Pros: Individual service - attentive to personal requests Cons: Didn't have time for more! more
