I spent a few nights at this hotel for business and thought it was a great place. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful. Very nice place. more

So thrilled to have found the Ethan Allen Hotel 8/29/2008

My son and his family recently relocated to Danbury CT. It was recommended by one of my son?s co-workers that we stay at the Ethan Allen Hotel. The moment you walk into the Hotel you just know you are going to have a wonderful stay. I personally loved that they decorated with Ethan Allen furniture, which made the whole place, lobby and room, feel like home. The staff was so friendly and always greeted us. more

Best hotel Danbury - cozy and homey, nice staff 11/15/2007

I have been staying in a few Danbury hotels lately because my business with GE Capital has increased. I tried a few of the chains and then heard about The Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury from some people at GE. I decided to try it. What a lovely surprise and delight the Ethan Allen Hotel is. I am usually a chain gal since it is easy and you normally know what you are getting, but I think I?ll start trying more independent hotels after this experience. Pros: Homey atmosphere with Ethan Allen furniture and cozy ambiance Cons: Would like more extensive health club more

Would Stay Again 5/23/2007

I was a guest for a wedding and found all the staff to be helpful. From the moment I checked in at the front desk, even to the servers at the reception. I forgot to mention that I could not eat one of the items served for dinner and a new meal was happily bought out to me. My stay was comfortable and relaxing and the breakfast brunch was great too! I would go back again if I ever need to stay in the area.\r \r Also my dog was allowed to stay for only $15. There are not too many pet friendly hotels. more

Nice Atmosphere And Food...Lax Staff 3/4/2006

Held my wedding here. The booking staff is young, somewhat unorganized and unprofessional. I'm guessing this is a training ground for the staff and they go on to bigger and better things. They overbooked the banquet rooms on the weekend I was married and did not deliver guest rooms and picture gardens as promised. Chaos reigned as guests from three Sweet 16 parties roamed the halls. The actual catering/service staff was wonderful. They showed such enthusiasm for my guests and were treated in A-1 style. The food was very good and served with a flair. PROS: Nice Service Staff...Nice Atmosphere, Good Food CONS: Young, Unprofessional Booking Staff...Too Many Parties At Once more

Nice hotel and provide nice weddings 7/29/2005

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very attentive. It's a nice place to stay. They do lots of catered events and I have been to many there. The weddings are nice, the food was good and the rooms were very nice. The staff was great and helped make a successful event. more
