My family has used the services of this doctor for many years with multiple pets. This is not a doctor who is about money, but who has a love for animals and their well being. Dr. Eisencraft is kind, gentle, understanding, and is interested in the pet and the family of the pet. He understands how costly vet care is and will work with anyone regarding their personal finances. He is trustworthy and I have nothing but kind words to describe him along with the service he provides more

Dr. E and staff were friendly, patient, and professional. On our first visit to discover why our cat wasn't eating, we discovered she had cancer. Our visits became more frequent in our attempt to make our cat more comfortable. Each time, Dr. E was patient and answered all our questions. Unfortunately, our beloved cat passed, but I'm grateful for the staff of Estates Animal Hospital. more

I have known Dr. Eisenkraft for over 20 years and would not trust anyone else with the care of my cat. He has always taken the time to answer any questions that I might have. His caring nature shows when you watch him perform and examination. I find him fair in the fees that he charges for the caring service he provides. more

I am so confused how anyone could write such a review about Dr Eisenkraft. He is the most compassionate and caring man in his profession! He and his staff treated me and my dogs with the utmost compassion when I needed them most. I was the owner of 2 standard poodles of which one became ill with cancer. It was \r Dr Eisenkraft that said medications would help her get the most out of the remaining months of her life. He was there for us both day and night 24/7. He helped me through such a difficult time in my life that I will be forever greatful. It wasn't just his staff, he answered my calls personally and even gave me his personal cell phone number just in case I needed him!! The worst experience I've had with a vet, he lied about my cats condition, giving us false hope, charging a small fortune for a failed treatment. "Always ask him how much things cost first!!!!!!! Thats his trick, as your walking out the door with your pet, you get a bill which is hundreds more than expected. He will also take this review off, so, if your lucky enough to see it before he does, save yourself hundreds of dollars, go anywhere else, I mean anywhere!!! more

I first came to Dr.Eisenkraft with my first dog after another vet wanted to operate for something that was treated with medication.This was over many years ago.He is a conservative vet with excellent diagnostic abilities, he has always been right on target, he will discus different options and explains why you can wait or should not wait for a specific treatment.He has never failed to return an important phone call.He really gets to know his patients.We are very pleased with his service. more

After bringing my dog in for her re-check I am filled with such gratitude that I was recommended to Dr. Eisenkraft. My dog had a chronic problem that, until being referred to Dr. Eisenkraft, had been misdiagnosed and continued to worsen. He took his time with me and thoroughly explained the problem, the treatment and what to expect. As a one-man practice, I have really gotten to know my vet and I appreciate how he both calls to see how she's doing and returns my calls if I have further questions. After hours there is a veterinary emergency and specialty practice that answers his emergency calls. more

I found my dog, Max, in 1996 and I've been taking him to see Dr. Eisenkraft ever since. Dr. Eisenkraft seems knowledgeable but he is not good at returning your calls as well as spending time with you to go over things with you. At times I find him to be abrupt and on the expensive side. If you need to contact your vet after office hours (some days they close around 3 and I work in the Manhattan and do not get home till after 6:30 pm.) you are just out of luck - they do not even have an answering machine for you to leave a message with (which is a moot issue since he doesn't call you back). It is a small practice - 1-2 doctors and his staff - Dr. Eisenkraft should take the time to call people back and if he is backed up with surgeries, etc., then he should take the the files home and call after office hours. I don't drive so I do not have the option of going somewhere else. Max is very old now and I try to do my own research on the net so at least I can try to stay on top of things. more

My family and I moved into the neighborhood 24 years ago. We raised two kids and had numerous pets, Gus the rottweiler, Smokey the Good old American Cat, Jake the Cocker, Sir Henri the Persian "Aristocat". Kids have moved on and made their own nest now and we are taking care of Naz the Siamese Wonder and Rocky the Feisty Mini Schnauzer. Dr. Eisenkraft and his staff have taken care of all of them. I couldn't have taken such good care of all my furry friends without the excellent care, nurturing, and service provided by them! Dr. Barry Eisenkraft and his staff at Estates Animal Hospital are truly exceptional and come highly recommended. My pets have been seeing him for four years now and whether it's a routine exam or surgery, I have had true peace of mind knowing that they are in his able and compassionate care. I live in Williamsburg about 20 min. away and believe that trekking out to Estates Animal Hospital is more that worth the trip. Thanks Barry! more
