My family and I eat here at least once a week. Their happy hour menu is seriously the best deal at Espanas!

It is The place to go In LB. But some of the taco trucks in the area have better food Pros: nice bar,patio Cons: average mexican food for Ca.

The meat is really soft and tender. They have excellent beans and cheese and soft melting rice, and the plates are so huge that I get full quickly so it's good to share. more

You can't go wrong at Espana's. I've eaten here many times and both the food and the service are consistently EXCELLENT. The menu has a great selection of Mexican fare, but also some wonderful seafood and steaks. Atmosphere is VERY relaxing inside or on the patio. I highly recommend the southwest enchiladas, baja salmon, and del rey tacos. Order a frosty margarita and set you are set! The chips and salsa are famous for good reason...they are fresh and delicious, and you can also request flour chips and green salsa. YUM! more

Margaritas are so good here 3/5/2012

We both had margaritas on the rocks. The menu said shaken margaritas and they mean that literally. They shook it right at our table! Service was awesome and we had an amazing dinner :) more

Service was terrible at Espana's and they charged for an extra salad bar due to my daughter getting some breadsticks! Ridiculous! They have pretty good Margarita's but the food is not impressive at all! Pros: Great Margaritas Cons: Service and Food more

This restaurant is very clean and the staff is very polite! Having a sensitive stomach many times I get sick, but not here! I can enjoy my food completely here in Espanas! The food is nice and hot! My all time favorite is the Chimichanga! They even have a buffet! The pricing is very reasonable. Try it, and you won't regret it! more

A really good restaurant in a small town 5/9/2008

We lived in Los Banos many, many years ago and absolutely loved this restaurant. We still love to go back whenever we get the chance. It has great atmosphere, the food is superb and they have good margaritas too. If you are headed from the Bay Area down Highway 5 to L.A. take a little detour into Los Banos, you won't be sorry! more
