Pretty Nice 12/28/2008

Equinox Woodland Hills is certainly a clean and friendly club, but I don't especially like the classes that they have there. Seems like most of them are really muscle conditioning classes and, frankly, how many squats and lunges can a person do? It's just plain boring after a while. To be fair, they also have a yoga and a cycling studio. The weight room and cardio equipment is clean and well maintained. In the end, though, I'm a group fitness girl. -- I like the comraderie -- so this coming year I'm going to check out Spectrum. Pros: It's new, clean, and well maintained. Cons: Pricey...and the parking can be troublesome more

Great gym for classes. Very clean. 12/24/2008

. All the equipment is new because this Equinox only opened last year. Everything is so clean. Occasionally you get a member that doesn't clean the equipment right away. They have cleaning staff that are on duty and try to keep everything clean.. There are towels available on the first and second floor. There is also shampoo, towels and razors in the bathroom. They have classes. There are good instructors and some that you would find at any gym. It's expensive at $120. If you use it then it's worth the price. Not as crowded as a lot of gyms. The hours are 6am to 10pm on the weekdays and they close at 7 pm on the weekends. The downstair's exercise room could be bigger as it gets crowded during peak hours. You do have to sign a year's contract. Pros: Clean. New equipment. Cons: Price. Parking is just okay. 2 hour limit. more
