I do not want to give them one star, I want to give them zero, but CitySearch made me give them at least one. I would never under any circumstance shop here again. I would rather etch the words out on a piece of glass with a hammer and chisel myself.
I had an awful experience here, and will never recommend their business to ANYONE. It was three days before my wedding and though we had contacted them many times in advance, and they said that they could engrave our mugs, they completely dropped the ball. They PROMISED over and over again via email that we would receive the mugs on Feb 3rd, as our wedding was on the 4th. Though I was nervous about cutting it so close, they assured me time and time again. It was the Wednesday before the wedding, the day that the mugs were to be shipped, and I called to confirm that they would be shipped on time. The owner of this business proceeded to tell me ''We are not going to be able to complete this order'' He went on to tell me that he was ''in the process of emailing me''. Though it still baffles me that he didn't call, when it was so close to the date that they were needed. After 'graciously' telling me that they would send them to me at cost (and not engraved might I add) I had just about enough. Though not charging me for labor, selling them at cost, and over-nighting them to my location would have solved their mistake (and been five dollars cheaper) he continued to tell me that he could not take a hit like that.
I have shopped on the internet many times before, and have never lost my cool with someone, until speaking with this company. I WOULD NEVER purchase anything from them, and will not support a business that is not willing to fix a mistake made by their team. I understand that mistakes happen, but it is a business owner?s job to rectify the situation. They did not. I ended up going to Things Remembered, and they did an amazing job. Do not shop here unless you are willing to risk non-shipment.
