Just got back from Portland. Spent four days playing poker at encore. It was a great time. The staff was very professional. A special thanks to Amy. My boyfriend and I flew in from Philadelphia and were looking for a place to play cards. Based on the reviews we read, we chose this place. We were not mislead. We talked to other players who had been to the other clubs in Portland and were told that this was the best place to play. I would play here again in a heartbeat. Awesome staff! more

Great place for poker! 11/1/2011

My first time to the Encore Club last Sunday to play in the ""Free Roll"". Over 70 entrants. Only had to pay $10 ""membership"" fee. No entry fees like the casino games. The club is very friendly and professional. Their dealers are volunteers, so a 10% tip is customary if you win. I look forward to going back. This is way better than playing at the local casinos. more

Classy yet relaxed 10/3/2011

Ive only been playing poker for a while at the clubs, I mostly play on line. After visiting other clubs, which will remain nameless, I decided to write this review. Encore is clean, friendly and professional. Also, after busting out you can relax and enjoy several beers on tap from the lovely waitstaff. more

Best poker room in Portland, OR 11/22/2010

Hands down best poker club in Portland, OR so far. This place got it all - right atmosphere, nice equipment, professional staff, full bar and lounge, parking lot and kickass location too! Me and my friends just fell in love with this place and moved our home poker games there, plus my place will not get trashed any more :) Buy-ins are not gonna get you broke in one night but just painful enough to make you play normal game and pay attention. In the end I just pay for entertainment and good times. We live just once right. Highly recommend to everyone. more
