Love my rehab sessions! 12/4/2012

As a 12 year old standard poodle, I've been slowing down lately so my mom has been bringing me here about once a month for tune-ups including PT, the underwater treadmill, laser therapy and acupuncture. I feel like a pup again and love my visits with Drs. Bonnie and Lindsay and vet tech Sharon! more

Excellent Service! 11/29/2012

As always, Jessica and her attending (sorry, I can't for the life of me remember her name right now!) delivered the excellent care we've come to expect at this wonderful facility! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Pepper loves you all! more

Excellent Care 11/16/2012

We have been visiting FCVERH since Aug. 1. Buster is doing well and improving with each visit. I can recommend their service to all. Buster had a disc injury and responded quickly to their acupuncture and pain relief. All the Doctors are excellent. I drive from Niwot just to receive this unique service of acupuncture, laser therapy, physical therapy and aqua therapy all in one visit. more

High level of personal service and rehab expertise! 11/9/2012

We've come to know the vet staff really well having taking our cat to many rehab appointmemts over the past 6 months for his spinal cord injury. They offer amazing support to us in his rehab and pain medication management! Our cat has made phenomenol gains in his tail function and pain. They offer a very high level of personal service. We love this place and couldn't be more pleased! more

My appointment with Bonnie 10/26/2012

My Mom has been noticing that I wasn't as wild and crazy on our walks as I used to be, so she too me to see Dr. Bonnie Wright for a "tuned up". It was fun; I did some exercises and got a LOT of cookies! Dr. Wright was able to figure out that I have some arthritis going on but also was becoming kind of weak in my hind legs. She gave Mom and me a list of exercises for me to do a few times a week that will get me back in shape for chasing bunnies! Thanks Dr. Wright! more

I feel so much better! 10/25/2012

Thanks to everyone at Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital, I'm back running and playing again. After having 3 surgeries on my two back legs, Mom thought I'd never be able to chase the ball again, but I feel great! more

Great Experience 10/18/2012

We met with Dr. Britt and she was awesome! She answered all our questions and was so patient in explaining everything. Even though she is a surgeon, she actually advised us against surgery at this time. She suggested we try a couple of other things first so as to avoid unnecessary pain for Ellie. I would recommend others to visit VERH. I love my dog and because of the mixture of compassion and professionalism I received, I will definitely go back to VERH. Thank you Dr. Britt! more

Amazing care for your best friend 10/9/2012

Veterinary emergency and rehab hospital is a very special place. Not only are they caring and kind, they also deliver top notch care to the animals that they treat. VERH does Everything they can to make sure your furry family members are cared for and loved the way you would want them to be. Specifically their pain clinic and acupuncture services will make the most skeptic person a believer in the effectiveness of the treatment. Thanks VERH for being there- it means a lot. more

Awesome Rehabilitation Service 9/15/2012

Kodi has progressed very nicely. He keeps getting stronger every time he goes. We are happy that he will not have to experience another TPLO at his tender age of 9 years. Dr. Habermann has been great, as well as all of the rehab techs that work with Kodi. They also referred us to Orthopets in Thornton for a stifle brace. They were also a great group of people. I would highly recommend either organization as an alternative to surgery if possible. more

We believe in acupuncture! 9/5/2012

As the fourth Wride dog to get acupuncture, massage and water therapy,it has made a significant difference in my movements and back/neck discomforts. Thanks to Dr. Rychel, for her genuine dedication and skill in helping my other dogs through arthritis and old age. The acupuncture makes a world of difference in dealing with the pain and stiff-ness, giving us relief from the ravages of old age. This is in memory of Otis, Desi and especially BUCKY who loved going. more

Lovin' those needles! 8/29/2012

For almost a year, I have had my chauffeur drive me from Evergreen to Ft. Collins for the soreness in my hips and spine. Acupuncture, laser treatments, some therapy and even the hydro treadmill have provided much relief. Unfortunately. with my improvement, the "powers that be" have decided I should also be on a diet! Now I have to search the house for my cat food instead of having it served to me! Bummer!!! more

"Old Girl" maintenance and pain management 8/11/2012

As a mature poodle my person was concerned about how I was slowing down. Dr. Habermann figured out what was causing my pain, then let me try out the underwater treadmill, laser therapy, and acupuncture. I learned some stretches and exercises to do at home. My person was really glad I was feeling better without having to get any pills to pop, since I don't really pop them without a bit of a struggle. I am looking forward to my monthly maintenance visits. more

Pepper Maden's PT 8/9/2012

Jessica Rychel is AWESOME, as is all assistants who help Jessica! Jessica's love for animals is very evident, and her expertise is something I've come to rely on, heavily, with regards to our sweet adopted Lab, Pepper! Thank you, Jessica, and everyone at the Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital, who always treat us well! more

These friends have given me hope again! 8/2/2012

I am 8, a Maltese & I could not walk as I have a spine injury but I am making progress! FCVER is helping me walk again. They have been terrific and I am learning to trust them as my mom brings me up from Niwot to see them. My mom tells me they are the most compassionate and best around that she has seen. My mom found me a great place to heal. Buster more

Fort Collins Vet Emergency and Rehab Hospital 6/8/2012

My buddy/owner has been taking me to the VERH for several months now, and that is the reason why I can still walk. After one knee surgery, I was not recovering well. But the vets there got me on the underwater treadmill, and used the laser and acupuncture to help me. They know great exercises and are at the cutting edge of rehabilitation therapies. I love them. They helped me and I will never forget it. more

Therapy helped Katie run and play again 6/8/2012

After having 4 major surgeries, Katie was no longer able to play and enjoy life. Thanks to therapy, she is once again able to go hiking, climbing to the top of Arthur's Rock on Memorial Day. All of the staff have been super caring, making sure Katie works hard but stays comfortable during her sessions. more

Chika's knees 6/7/2012

Chika only had a few exercises at her first evaluation but I can see, even this soon, that it is going to be beneficial. Great team of dedicated therapists who really care about the welfare and well-being of their patient's. Thank you! more

wonderful staff and care 6/6/2012

From the perspective of someone who is behaviorist and works in human healthcare compliance, the level of customer service, empathy, coordination of care and knowledge exceeded my expectations. We thank you for taking such good care of our baby boy in his time of need. more

PT has helped Buddy's back pain a lot 5/8/2012

Buddy's back feels a lot better; it is more limber and he no longer has an arched up spine, but is flat and healthy. The excercises have strengthened his core to help support his back. Buddy also has elbow pain causing chronic limping, so Dr. Wright has Buddy walk in the water tank to help him walk with even weight on all four legs. more
