I have worked in the security field for 10 yrs on the east coast. I have not worked for Elite but have worked for GMI here and have definitely noticed a similar obnoxious attitdude of 1. favortisem- which is completely unprofessional, and 2. sh*t pay. first when you hire someone and they say they need full time than you should give it to them instead of paying double time to someone else, that's just common business sense as well as wasting company funds. 2. you get what you pay for, when you pay shit wages, especially in this econemy, than that job that the person was psyched to do, becomes a shit job and they don't put in their all; Especially if you're not paying them enough to pay their bills. Then you'll get people who would have given 110%, and now not caring because they're getting wrongfully treated like sh*t from the very beginning. Everyone should come in at an equal opportunity chance, You shouldn't have to prove anything, especially the right to have 40 hours a week. GMI does do that, They totally favor one person over another and am not an equal opportunity employer, and judging from the eval of so called Elite, I bet they are the same. I didn't initially go with them when I was looking because they under pay their employees, and You should not have to kiss ass to get an equal chance of a full 40 hours. I am surprised that GMI and Elite haven't been seud for failure to be an equal opportunity employment. Any compnay that pulls that should be reported to the better business beuro for unprofessional practices and unfair treatment and well as failure to follow equallity standards.Don't go with GMI and Don't go with Elite, whether as an employee and especially not as a client. As a client you want a company that has people that like their job, will put %110 into it. When you disrespect your employees, you distroy theor motivation thus not getting %110. As a client I don't want a company gaurding my property where their employees are disgruntled or feel they area being shafted by their employer.
